It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

this was my 2nd visit, I made sure we had reservations for 16 and althought it is pricey, it was something differnt for my family. We encountered the exact same problem, 16 people...

this was my 2nd visit, I made sure we had reservations for 16 and althought it is pricey, it was something differnt for my family. We encountered the exact same problem, 16 people and not enough food for the table. I missed the 1st go round for the chicken and waited 30 min get the next round. Thats to long to wait, the food is good but there SERVICE is the same as it was 11 yrs when I was there. I did write them a letter and noone aknowledged it, will send them an email this time. Maybe large parties are as welcome, but their 25.40 is. more

Spooky yet Historical 3/19/2006

A must see when visiting St. Louis. The Lemp Mansion is full of history. Built by the Lemp family in the 1860's the mansion was home to the Lemp family, headed by William Lemp of Lemp Brewery. Unfortunately the Lemp family has a history that is sad, which in turn has created talk of the mansion being haunted. There were numerous deaths and suicides that took place among this family and in the mansion itself. This place is popular during Halloween because if its history. You can also attend mystery dinners and many a wedding reception has been held here. Don't pass up this historical home when traveling to St. Louis! more

spooky place to stay 9/10/2005

Most popular during Halloween because it is said to be haunted, this is a nice but creepy place to stay. The mansion was built in the 1860's and William Lemp (of the Lemp Brewery) moved his family into the house in 1876. Then horrible things happened to his family, including numerous suicides and deaths in the building. So if you want a haunted place to stay and are looking to go ghost hunting, you might want to try staying here. They do mystery dinners here and they also have wedding receptions here. more

Featured on travel channel as one of the spooky St. Louis haunted places. We did college formal there one year. Ironically the theme that year was "murder mystery". Everyone had fun that year. The people who work there did a great job making sure we had a blast. The food was nice. So was the bar. It would be fun to visit during Halloween. more

Awesome food and scary too!!! 7/18/2005

Not only does this fine restaurant serve everything but it is also haunted very true!! They do a tour around Halloween and we ate at the restaurant first and very yummy food but is was kind of pricey but they did have great steaks . We then did the tour of the house and let me tell you I and 4 other people seen something that you would never want to see it was very spooky. You will be a believer too this place is very haunted so it is a neat experience plus they also have great food!! more

Sunday Family Lunch 7/12/2005

Wow! What a dining experience! The Lemp Mansion offers a great Sunday dinner/lunch. It is served family style. They bring big bowls of food to the table to share, and yes when the bowl emptys, they bring more. We had, chicken, roast beef, ham, potatoes, corn, green beans, rolls, applesauce, rice, and more I just can't remember. The dining experience was memorable and I will definately return to this haunted mansion! Check out your entertainment book for buy one get one free coupon. more

    Any raps and taps heard at this Victorian mansion are likely to be authentic, so this B&B is a traveler's best bet for genuine haunting. The 33-room mansion was built in the 1860s and brewing baron William Lemp mistakenly moved his family into the expansive house in 1876. The tragic demise of his family followed, including numerous suicides and deaths in the building.

    The Amenities
    Renovated in the '60s, this inn is a popular bed and breakfast with four suites, each named after and previously belonging to a specific family member. All rooms are decorated with fine Victorian furnishings, some also with fireplaces and views of the Mississippi River and the St. Louis skyline. The well-regarded Lemp Mansion Restaurant offers mystery dinner shows each weekend night. Needless to say, the busiest season is Halloween.
