Lemont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

I was just researching places and found this! What a helpful site. I just toured with someone named Vicki, who was so friendly. She spent an hour talking about my medicare and how things would work. The facility is beautiful and well taken care of. I thought the therapy gym was big, and the people were all working hard!\r After touring some other places, manor and aldeen and hearing from some friend, I will be going to Lemont Center! Thank you to the previous review, it couldnt have come at a better time. more

My husband was here after a knee replacement in February 2012. He was there over 30 days, and never had a complaint. The staff were wonderful, answered our questions, answered his light right away and helped us every step of the way. We were so pleased with his care and therapy that we have already recommended them a few times to our friends! If you live near the Lemont area, and need care or therapy for yourself or a family member, this is THE place to go! more

As nice as Lemont Center considering its wide rangeof effective services and it's seeminly happy and well kept residents, it's achilles feet lies in it's top management. While i cannot fully confirm if the D.ON is a drug addict,though she looks like one, It is an open secret among the junior staff that the administrator and the D.O.N are very racist. African Americans and other Black descendants are the target of this racism. I\r was opportuned to work there and i witnessed it firsthand. Unnecessary threats and intimidation by the administration are the order ofthe day at Lemont center. The turnover amng the nurses especially the night staff is also especially high. I hope the corporate office is paying attention to this and would follow up on it. more
