Good: Not vey much. Bad: I have never met the guy during either the first endoscopy or a second endoscopy he scheduled two years later. His office schedueld a second endoscopy and when I arrived at the hospital, the office told me he was on vacation. Another doctor felt sorry and completed the endoscopy. When I called about a visit to get the results, his office did not have the records or know anything of what occurred. Improvements: Start meeting his patients or at least give the impression that he cares about his patients. more

I took my daughter to see him yesterday and he got straight to work with her. After about 20 minutes he invited me into the room and explained his diagnosis on my daughter in a way that we both understood. He then helped us to schedule another appointment for later on and then proceeded with the rest of his work. He seems like a very caring man and also devoted to what he does as a doctor. Thumbs up for this one. more

Great Experience 5/20/2010

I had a procedure with Dr Leichus and his staff was very helpful.He spoke to me before the procedure. After the procdure I do not really remember much due to the medication, but he spoke with my husband. I would reccommend him. more

The Stealth Doctor 4/14/2010

Like many others, I have no idea what this guy looks like, even though he snuck around me after I had been given Versed and did a colonoscopy in less than 1 minute. Charged over $5000 (yes, five thousand dollars) for that one minute interruption in his life. Heard he's building a HUGE home in Tallahassee (including 14 bathrooms!) so I guess he needs to make his payments. Don't go to this guy - he's a jerk who won't even bother to give you the results after your procedure. He passes that off to the nurses to do. more

can't be bothered to introduce himself 6/22/2009

I've never had an invasive procedure (colonoscopy) where the doctor didn't introduce himself. I have no idea what he looks like. I had several questions after the procedure and he still didn't bother making an appearance. Instead, I was given a "report form" with some items circled - as if that explained everything. If you're interested in a healthcare partner go elsewhere. more

Does he really exist 8/12/2008

At my first appointment I was introduced to his picture!! At no time did I ever meet the guy. Not before or after the procedure or even at the follow up appointment after the procedure. I thought that was disturbing enough but then their billing procedures are so awful that my insurance has declined payment twice, and Ive had no problem with other doctors offices. Im still waiting to see if they can straighten it out. I would not recommend this guy to a dog. more

Couldn't Eat 10/23/2005

My husband's esopagus was in such bad shape that he was having trouble eating. After a couple trips to Dr. Leichus, they did some minor work in and within a DAY my husband could finally eat without pain again! Though this is a procedure he'll have to have done once a year or as needed, Husband is glad that a doctor finally found the problem and fixed it. more
