First, the guy got lost coming here, then he lost his tool- apparently he screwed the panel door closed after leaving it in the unit. Then, he left my disconnect switch unhooked and out IN THE RAIN for 8 HOURS before calling to say, oops he forgot it. It's electrical! It's not supposed to get wet! Then he didn't fix the problem but charged $200. When called back out to fix the problem (of no heat), it took 2 HOURS to hook up a thermostat which he swears was the only problem. It should only take 15 min max to do that. But he blows 5 fuses while doing so. So, OBVIOUSLY NOT the only problem. THEN after we said to take off their $189 thermostat b/c if that truly is the only problem, we would buy one less expensive, he ripped off all the labels of the wires in anger. He didn't put the labels on, they were on there when he came! But the problem still isn't fixed! We have no heat but he swears he did his job?! That doesnt even make sense! He says it's just the thermostat, but even though we've put on 2 ourselves and they don't work, Leggett says it's because ones from Home Depot are inferior or that we got a 'bad batch' of thermostats. Trust me, don't pay HIGH dollar ($400 for these 2 visits that didn't even solve anything!) for these people. I was attracted to the 'family owned business' but I am no longer impressed. Not to mention the thing that really blows my mind- he left about 7 EXPOSED, stripped wires. I'm no electrician, but should you strip wires and then leave them sticking out in a customer's unit? They also lied to me, calling saying my roommate was there and could verify heat coming out. Once I paid, the tech took out the thermostat before my roommate ever verified hot air was blowing! I can not believe the service! If you are looking for someone reputable, we found this company who solved a similar problem for our neighbors for $79. Comfort Air Tech 904-699-7139.
Pros: friendly, at first
