Legacy Toyota

My husband bought several cars at Legacy with no issues. After his death my daughter needed a car. The salesman told me that I would have to co-sign due to her not having enough credit. He assured me that her credit score would reflect the payments made and also told me that the loan could be transferred to her name exclusively in a year or so. I found out a year later that car loans DO NOT ever get transferred. After another few years went by my daughter wanted purchase a new car on her own. Because we like Toyota we visited Legacy again. Again they wanted me to co-sign and again gave me the same line - you can transfer the loan. So busted for lying !!! My daughter was able to buy a new car using her own credit elsewhere. Shame on the owner of Legacy for allowing deceitful practices. more

I've had several different models of vehicles over the years and I have to say my experience at Legacy Toyota is probably the best I've had of all the dealerships I've been to in Tallahassee. I had service done on my Tacoma today and they got me out pretty quickly and the repair didn't cost as much as I was expecting. It is a pretty big dealership but I was treated like I'd expect from a smaller mom and pop store. more

I overlooked the fact that they had pushy salesman and bought the car anyway. The service department is absolutely horrible. They do not know how to patch a flat tire. I made 3 trips there before it was finally fixed correctly. They would rather lose a customer and refund my thousand dollar service warranty than replace a $50 tire. I will never go back there. more
