Leesburg Pet Ctr

My husband and I have had a few experiences with this pet store. We drive all the way over from Citrus County. We recently had an experience where my husband had bought an aquarium, then later decided he wanted a different size. They were very willing to work with us on an exchange/credit to accomodate us, especially the owner. We have always found them very accomodating and knowledgable. This store has the best salt selection and prices in the area. The fish and corals always look great and the sales people are very knowledgeable and very helpful. My usual salesperson, Danny, helped me with a problem with fish from another fish store . He was able to identify the problem and save the fish. I won't make that mistake again. I drive all the way from Ocala every Tuesday just to see what came in. All in all this place is great and I would recommend Leesburg Pet Center to anyone. more

Several weeks ago my wife and I had to deal with this business owner, a female lady approximately in her 60's identified herself as the owner, she repeatedly refused to satisfy our simple request. I am not going in too much detail, all I can say is I am telling everyone I know to stay clear of this Pet Store, It is the worst in the business. I will never step foot in that place ever again. She is so kind when they talk you into spending your money, but if you require any assistance after the sale, forget about it, the nice person you spoke to previously will be gone, replaced with a wicked, condescending, just plain mean owner. And not only that, while I was attempting to resolve this dis-agreement, a male employee threatened me, 3 different times, Not only did the 'Owner' not restrain her employee, she let him continue to provoke and thus worsen the situation. I never got my refund, be careful if you happen to find this place, it's in one of the worst plazas in leesburg, just where it belongs.
