Thank you Learning Tree for helpin an "at risk" child 11/8/2010

I met Ms. Shirley (Clarke) in 2003 in my search for the "right" childcare for me & my child/children. I knew the minute I walked in the door I had found the "right" childcare center for me & my child?children, and after talking w/ ms. Shirley a bit, I knew for certain this would be our second home. You see Im not what you would call a "normal" parent (?), I am a foster mom and I take the role of "Mommy" with every instinct in my soul. Over the years I have had several children attend Learning Tree, under the direction of both Ms. Shirley & her daughter Terri, and they have always went beyond the call of duty in helping me with our children ("our" meaning community children at risk, looking for safety in a home), along with the amazing (& just as loyal) Ms. Chris, who serves great meals with love & affection to the children in their care. Currently, I have a daughter (foster daughter) who has gone thru much tragedies in her little life, and because of the stability that Learning Tree pr more

our experience... 10/27/2010

We have one daughter enrolled and one who attended about 5 years ago. Our kids both love the daycare, love the teachers and we have had none of the issues that were mentioned in the previous review. As a business man I would like to point out that job tenure or longevity of employees is a solid indicator that management is doing a good job. The staff is well seasoned and personable and I can promise that if I smelled alcohol I would have had a conversation about it right on the spot. My wife is a professional and works in the Bay County school system and we did our homework before choosing this facility. If you want a small, secure, clean and loving environment for your child this place is for you. more

Part of the Family 10/27/2010

Learning Tree II is and has been great for my children. My daughter absolutely loves her teachers and the staff at the center! It is as if they're part of her family! My son, now in first grade, still enjoys returning to the center and visiting with his teachers. They are always willing to chat with him about how he's doing in 'big' school or what he's up to. Ms. Terri, Ms. Tina, Ms. Malesha, Ms. Sara Ms. Shirley, Ms. Jo and Ms. Chris are all WONDERFUL! more

DISSAPOINTED 10/25/2010

I don't recommend enrolling your child here.(from experience) My child clothes stayed missing and I ask about them they catch an attitude like it was my fault that they lost my child's clothes. On top of that for some reason the Director(Terri) and the 3yr old class teacher(Tina) always smelt like alcohol, like they have been parting all night before. The main thing that made me take my child out of that daycare was that I always had to sign these incident reports and they could never explain to me what really went on, and why my child always had scraps and bruises. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVISE GO SOME PLACE ELSE!!!!!!!!! more

Sorry 10/23/2010

This is the worst school I've ever accompanied. I witness kids in the 3 yr old class being thrown around like rag- dolls and kids being yelled at, parents being talked about like a dog.I once seen a teacher(Tina) in the 3 yr old class throw a child in a chair so hard that the child fell out and hit his head on the floor. Later she wrote it up as an incident report that another child shoved him. There's no professionalism here. I feel sorry for Shirley because she is the owner and she's not there as often as she use to be, but if she only knew what her daughter was up to and how (Terri) doesn't do her job. Mrs Shirley that poor lady could lose her daycare that she worked so hard for the immaturity that she hired. I feel sorry that I hadn't spoken up sooner. Eventually someone else will more

AWSEOME day care if you want your kids to feel loved! 11/19/2005

My children used this daycare from 11 mos old right up to the 2nd grade, and I absolutely love the owner, Shirley and Miss Chris. They getto know each child personally, they love and care forthe children as if they are their own grandkids. They have recently remodled the interior and the children all love the colorful decor and palyground. Lots of educational and developmental toys and games to keep the kiddies busy! PROS: Wonderful school, lots of love and learning going on here! CONS: more
