Marissa is a such fun and caring teacher to our son! When I asked him his favorite thing about Marissa, he said "I like when she plays sports with us, or comes up with cool games to try." We appreciate how she seems to connect with each child, engages with the kids, and makes sure that everyone is having fun after school! Thanks for all you do, Marissa! more

Great School Age Program! 2/6/2018

We've been at LT for several years and very much value the high quality and engaging environment they provide. The School Age program provides a healthy breakfast and after school snack, and there are a variety of activities to keep kids learning through their play. Ms. Sasha is great at interacting with the kids and with parents! more

Miss Sasha is fantastic! 12/16/2017

We are so lucky to have Miss Sasha in the school age classroom. She is such a friendly person, and is great with the kids! Our son loves being with her before and after school, and we always hear about the fun and creative activities she plans for the class. We usually find her right in the middle of a game or a fun activity with the kids upon pick up, which shows she is engaged and connected to them. She's always making sure the kids are having fun, as well as staying safe. We get the sense she really enjoys being around kids, and always seems very organized. We appreciate all that she does!! more

Miss Heather has consistently been a wonderful asset to The Learning Tree. I know that I can always go to her with any concerns I have and that they will be taken seriously and addressed. I have complete confidence in her and am proud that my son is able to learn from her. more

Caring, kind, and attentive teacher 4/23/2017

We are so thankful to have Miss Maureen in the school age classroom! She is a joy, and has such a sweet and caring personality. Whenever we walk into the room, the kids are all involved in fun activities and are enjoying themselves. Our son has told us about some of the fun activities that Miss Maureen plays with him, and the other kids such as, "Trash", perler beads, Uno, and outside games. Miss Maureen clearly has a knack for being around this age group, and we have seen many examples of her calm, kind demeanor to help the children problem solve. From planning fun activities, listening to stories, providing a safe, fun classroom, and being involved in the different children's activities--it is evident that Miss Maureen is a fabulous teacher. We know she has made an effort to get to know our son, and she is such a wonderful person to have in his life! We cannot say enough good things about Miss Maureen!! more

Miss Brenna 2/7/2017

Miss Brenna has been a teacher in my son's toddler class for some time. He was nervous to move rooms, as any 1.5 year old would have been, but Miss Brenna helped to make the move easy. My son loves her. He wakes up asking to see her, and goes to bed wanting to tell her goodnight. She is open and honest with me about any issues and excited to share when he learns something new. We are so very happy to have her as one of his amazing teachers at The Learning Tree. more

We love the Learning Tree South Lyon. Miss Brenna in the Toddler Room is always so friendly and our daughter loves to see her each morning. We couldn't be happier with all the staff and the care they give to our kids. more

Ms. Heather-Pre-K assistant teacher 5/20/2016

Ms. Heather has been such a treasure as the assistant Pre-K teacher for our son, and I cannot say enough good things about her! Heather really got to know our son through him being in her small group for much of the year. He constantly talks about the fun facts and things he learns in the theme activities for the week that Heather has shared. He also really gets excited when Heather is there in the mornings, and always wants to give her a big hug before we leave for the day. I truly appreciate all that she has given him, and all of her hard work to make the Pre-K class a fun, safe, and educational environment. more

Ms. Anne-Pre-K lead teacher 5/20/2016

Miss Anne is a fabulous teacher, and I cannot say enough good things about her! Our son has flourished over the past year, and I truly believe he is going to Kindergarten well prepared. This is mainly due to the time he has spent at The Learning Tree, and with Ms. Anne! Anne has a way of working with the children to keep them active and at play, but also learning! She provides a fun and interesting schedule each day that engages the kids and provides structure, while also providing balance to allow each child time to choose their own activities. I am so amazed at how much my son has learned this year, and he is thriving because of Anne! I truly appreciate all that she has given him, and all of her hard work to make the Pre-K class a fun, safe, and educational environment. Thank you Anne!!! more

Hello, My name is Pamela Moberley & my daughter Kylie is in the preschool room @ the learning tree in south Lyon . I wanted to take some time to convey how happy I am with the learning tree. I think the program is structurally sound. The food is nutritious. The teachers are all fabulous . Miss Paula is also excellent, very personable & organized. I'm very thankful to have found the learning tree. I look forward to many more years with the girls there. Thank you Pam more

Miss Katrina-Lead Preschool Teacher 11/11/2014

We have been very happy with the Learning Tree-South Lyon for the past 3 years. Our son has had wonderful teachers all through his time at the center, and most recently Miss Katrina as his Preschool lead teacher. Miss Katrina, Miss Alex, and Miss Mary make the Preschool room a fun and engaging learning environment. They are all are exceptional at their jobs, and make the Preschool room run flawlessly. I am always amazed when I walk into the classroom at how organized they are and how they always seem to know just what each child is doing, or what their daily routine has been. I feel that Miss Katrina and the other teachers really make an effort to get to know each child, and figure out what works well for them. I cannot say enough good things about these three teachers, and the fabulous care that they provide for our son! Thank you all for your hard work, and for making learning fun! more

The learning Tree-South Lyon, MI 11/18/2013

We recently began bringing our daughter, Charlotte, to The Learning Tree and are very impressed with the teachers and staff within this location. We have experienced a few day cares through our older daughter and think The Learning Tree offers great structure, fun and a great meal plan that provides healthy and organic options for the kids. Ms. Claire is patient and kind with the children and looks like she enjoys being with the kids in her class. We are excited that we were able to find such a great daycare facility for our Charlotte. We would recommend The learning Tree and Ms. Claire to others. more
