I called in about lessons a few weeks away and the person that called me was not only rude but sleazy too.
From the start, he seemed to be in an a negative impatient mood--he was aggressive and tried pushing me to book within the same day.
When I asked him if extra people could come in the boat, he seemed to get a bit annoyed. Then he started asking a lot of questions about each individual in my group. His reason was that he would have to pay for gas, so that may affect the price he quotes me. So he asked me how many guys and how many girls were coming, and which of those were the ""extras"". I told him half and half and girls would be extra.
Then he asked me about the girls' weight (okay), their height (huh?), and then their ethnicity (what!?). His exact words were ""So, are they White, Asians, or what?"" I then realized he wanted to know if I would bring what he considered attractive girls. I didn't respond to that last question and quickly ended the conversation. He kept insisting ""I need to know because of gas. You understand?"" He must have said ""You understand?"" in a somewhat condescending tone about five times throughout our coversation.
I'm still in disbelief how sleazy that guy was--I would have died of shame if I brought my friends to go wakeboarding with these people. I wouldn't recommend anyone to ever be taught by those guys.
