my friends and i decided to go on a cruise and to get us in the mood, i wanted to rent cruise-related movies. a couple of titles came up after googling, and after calling 2 blockbusters and 1 hollywood, only le video had it in stock. in dvd and vhs, my choice. keep up the good work. your company is great! more

Great selection. 7/20/2006

We've been going to Le Video since it had laser discs and VHS tapes! They actually had a really good selection of laser discs, but I digress ... This is probably the best video store anywhere. They have a huge selection. They have videos organized by director and theme, so you can find comparables to videos you like. And their staff is not as snooty as Amoeba's. All in all a great store. more

Le Vid 5/19/2006

Wow, there are already a lot of reviews for Le Video. That’s some indication of how much people dig this place. My movie buff friends were always trucking over there to grab some hard-to-find flick or another and I thought they were crazy to go all that way, but, now I’m a convert too. They do a lot a PAL to NTSC transfers (I think those are the correct acronyms) which might not be all that legal, but it means you can watch obscure European stuff on your home VCR rather than waiting for a stateside release in our format. more

perfect videos 12/31/2005

this place has a huge selection of videos from all over the world. it has all the movies that places like blockbuster doesnt have because the movies at le video are foreign. these movies are great and have one numerous awards around the world. if you are looking for great forein films then i definitely recommend you go visit this place because of the great variety. more

excellent store 11/16/2005

I always go to Le Video when I am looking for a good movie that I cannot find at any other video store. They have a great variety of movies to chose from and they also have movies in differerent languaes with subtitles that you can rent. I thinkk that you need a subscription with them in order to rent movies and i believe that is free of charge. I always go to this video store when I want to find a different movie and the prices are pretty reasonbale. The parking is a little tough, but, I will still highly recommend this video store to anyone and everyone I know. more

This video store is excellent. No only is the customer service great, but a person can find absolutely any movie that there are looking for here. The prices are pretty reasonable and you do not need to be a member of any kind to rent movies. I would highly recommend this video store to anyone and everyone. more

Video 10/24/2005

A one stop video shop. They have everything in this store from new releases to kids to hard to find videos. Even though the store is small, they packed in a lot of movies and videos. I like this store because their rentals fees are extremely low versus chain stores like Blockbuster. They rent videos out on a daily basis rather the one set fee for 2-3 days. When I know I will watch a video, I'll get that day and return it the next. This way I can save and rental fees. more

EXTRAORDINARY STORE 10/21/2005

One of my classmates suggested this store to me when I needed to find a movie for class. I looked EVERYWHERE, and I could not find it. I went to this store, and I got lost looking for the movie. They had movies I have never seen before in any other video store and I ended up renting a few. I always go back because they have such a big selection and the prices are pretty reasonable. I would highly recommend this video store to anyone!! more

Best video rental place 8/19/2005

Le Video is the best video place to find movies that you will never find at blockbusters. they carry a great selection of foreign movies and documentaries that are hard to find in other video stores. Also, if you're into cult films, martial arts movies, or new hollywood releases, Le Video is by far the most extensive video store in the city. It's a film-lover's paradise, with free popcorn. if you need any advice the sttaff will help you for sure. more

Best Video Rental in SF 8/19/2005

Le Video has been around for many years. It has grown from a small video rental store to quite a large one with a large selection of domestic movies as well as foreign films. With shelves and shelves of recommendations from the staff, you can always find something good to watch. They do require membership though but well worth it. more

anti-blockbuster 8/13/2005

This place has a lot of titles you cannot find at Hollywood or Blockbuster. A lot of foreign and cult titles. If you are not into Netflix but want to watch something left of the mainstream, check this place out. Parking however is not easy in the Irving area, especially around dinner time. more

i like the prices and you find many titles 8/12/2005

like any other video rental store, you will find almost all the titles blockbuster and net flix has to offer. the cost of a video is not much more expensive or cheaper than elsewhere. the location is great, although you will have to spend some time looking for parking. it is located in the sunset district of san francisco. there are also quite a few nice resturants around. enjoy your movie. more

Need to go International 8/6/2005

Le Video has a lot of foreign films that you cant find at the big video stores. THey stock up on small movies and have them in you database so you can order them online in their store. I think this is smart because everytime i need something for class, they either have it in the store, or i know where to find it already. parking is a lot of hassle though, but i take the N bus so it is only about a block away. more

Great Foreign Rentals 8/4/2005

Le Video is a great video rental place for rare and foreign films. They have over 89,000 films and a DVD inventory of over 21,000. If you need to find that random French movie for your film class, your best bet is probably to head over to Le Video. You can search their titles using the online database. Parking around there can be hard to find on the weekends and in the evenings. more
