Lynndolyn Mitchell, the principal of our Law firm, has over 20 year's criminal litigation experience. Ms. Mitchell is licensed to practice law in Maryland, Virginia, and The District of Columbia. She is also an inactive member of the State Bar of California. Lynndolyn Mitchell received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California at Irvine and her Juris Doctorate degree from The Antioch University School of Law.
Lynndolyn Mitchell gained extensive criminal law experience as a Deputy Public Defender in Riverside, California, and while serving as a Senior Assistant Public Defender in Virginia Beach, Virginia. (Certified to handle Death Penalty cases) Ms. Mitchell gained additional criminal and civil litigation experience while associated with the law firm of Tomlinson and Associates in Arlington, Virginia.
Ms. Mitchell has tried over 35 serious felony jury trials and has tried numerous cases before judges in felony, misdemeanor and civil matters, including contested child custody, divorce and protective order proceedings. Ms. Mitchell has briefed and argued several cases before the Virginia Court of Appeals.
Lynndolyn Mitchell was an adjunct professor for the University of Maryland University College (Europe) in the paralegal studies and criminal justice program from 1998-2003. She was Nominated who's Who among America's College Teachers (2004-2005). Ms. Mitchell served as a defense coach for mock trial competitions at The Naples American High School in Naples Italy. Lynndolyn Mitchell is current member of The Maryland Bar Association, The Montgomery County Bar Association, The District of Columbia Bar and the Virginia State Bar. She was a member of the Arlington County Bar Association (2001-2007)
