I moved to Georgia in 1988, with a few stops along the way for my late husband's orthopedic training. I have three children, and have been widowed since 1999. Prior to my marriage, I attended Thomas Jefferson College of Allied Health, one of the top medical colleges in the country, located in Philadelphia. There I earned my Bachelor's Degree (BSN) in nursing. I then worked as a registered nurse (RN) in various fields, including pediatric child abuse/surgery; adult Gynecology; adult general surgery; and lastly in adult cardiac and medical intensive care. I graduated in 2004 with honors and worked my first two years in a large law firm in my town focusing on family law issues, medical malpractice, and a smattering of automobile insurance defense. I opened my own practice in 2006, with a hope of focusing even more on children and the juvenile court system. I am certified both as a Guardian ad litem (GAL) and in Collaborative Law. Currently, I now spend a great amount of time working as a GAL in both Juvenile Court and Superior Court, in addition to my family law practice. My family law/juvenile practice is extremely rewarding, fast paced and always interesting meeting so many types of people/families. I work in all counties surrounding Atlanta, GA. In addition to my practice in family law, I also practice in the area of medical and dental malpractice, wrongful death, and serious personal injury.
