When I got arrested for a DUI, I was shocked to say the least. I've never been in trouble my whole life, and for the arrest to even happen was very embarrassing to me and my family. I was driving back from a party on Saturday night at 3 in the morning, so I was very tired. I had a drink, but I was no longer buzzed when I drove back. I wanted to make sure I was sober before I went back home, which was why I waited until 3 in the morning to drive back. I was only a few blocks from my house when I did what the cop said was a rolling stop. I thought it was a full stop, but I guess at this point, I'm not gonna argue. I asked the officer what the problem was, and all he said was that I failed to make a full stop. I thought I was going to get a ticket, but then he started asking me if I had anything to drink, and he had me do a field sobriety test, which he said I failed! The car was towed (it was my mom's so she was really mad) and my dad had to pick me up at the station. I'm glad he represented me, because he was able to prove that the officer's results weren't even reliable, and that it was just a rolling stop that deserved a ticket. If I ever get in trouble again (I hope not), I'd trust him to represent me again after what he did for me.
