No non-sense professional that gets the job done. 8/5/2012

Mr. Gebelt is very, very intelligent and goes into great detail, covering all the bases. There were no surprise costs or fees involved and he allowed me to pay over time prior to filing. After my experience with his office, I highly recommend him if you are considering bankruptcy relief. I had one VERY aggressive creditor who contacted me just before my discharge and scared me, but with one call to Mr. Gebelt I never heard a word from them again. There is not a price tag you can place on having that kind of peace. All my debts except those that were not eligible to be discharged (taxes, etc) were. His office always returns calls and answers questions. You may see 'cheap' lawyers or services claiming they can do a full bankruptcy for much less but you will end up likely getting a paralegal and headaches...you get what you pay for and if your claim is not handled right it can be a nightmare. I had a good overall experience with Mr. Gebelt, make sure you provide everything he asks for and have it all ready and you should have smooth sailing. more

Very organized, prepared, and explanitory. 7/25/2012

As my council, Nicholas explained of lot of things in bankruptcy law to me and listened to my situation. It took me a while before I had to go with him, but he was very, very patient. He explained and answered every question I had about paperwork. During my case, he was so organized. It was zip, zip, zip, and he told me in advance what paperwork to bring, what fees were necessary, and where to go. He was detailed, supportive, and I had an excellent experience working with The Law Offices of Nicholas Gebelt. I really think they're excellent. The expertise of Nicholas Gebelt was over the top. He was very informative, always there to answer any questions, and made us feel like we weren't alone in our situation. The process of going through bankruptcy should be your key objective when searching for attorneys,my wife works for the District Attorneys Office Central Trials Los Angeles,and being thorough is job #1.With Nickolas Gebelt being a board certified bankruptcy specialist we soon found out going through the process that we were in good hands with his thoroughly going over every detail from start to finish.I highly suggest you stay away from the cattle run BK Attorneys,your case most likely will be continued,that is a no win proposition in BK:) more

I filed for bankruptcy last year. I was expecting to pay some of the bankruptcy, but we ended up paying for 100 percent of it. We found out about the Law Offices of Nicholas Gebelt through the internet and we wanted someone in the area who would be easy to correspond with. The Law Offices of Nicholas Gebelt was the first we went to. Mr. Nicholas Gebelt was very thorough in his calculations, however. We trusted his judgement. He's very intelligent and trustworthy. You can believe what he says. Don't expect to go into bankruptcy court with a half-rated lawyer. He's really smart too, I think he's a borderline genius! He explains everything and his explanations are very thorough. My experience with the law offices of Nicholas Gebelt was good. more
