My experience over the years, both in practice and personally, has led me to seek this position. Our judicial system serves a vital role in our families and our society. Although this Court must make all decisions under the overarching principle of the best interest of the child, ultimately, it is a court of law and it is incumbent upon the court to apply the law equally, fairly, and in a manner that respects the rule of law and recognizes the gravity of its decisions. I pledge that as a judge I will listen and I will rule, and that I will safeguard every litigants right to be fairly heard and to have the law fairly applied, without passion or prejudice, and without regard to ones social status, race, gender or faith.
