Stephanie has been doing my hair since she was at Aveda. Great with cutting my bob haircut (posh spice look) and coming up with great color ideas. Lavande is cute too!

i found Jessica through word of mouth and was stunned by how beautiful she cut my hair the first time. The cut was perfect, the color was gorgeous, and the styling was beautiful! ...

After a disappointing haircut somewhere else, I went on a search for a salon with good ratings. Because of the high ratings for Jessica and Lavande, I decided to give it a try. Jessica butchered my hair....literally butchered my hair. She represents herself as a Master Stylist, but she doesn't even have the tools and supplies that a professionals shop should have. On top of that, she charged more money they anyone I've been to in Albuquerque. She charges more money than the owner of the salon that has been named ""Best of Albuquerque"" for several years. I wouldn't recommend this shop or Jessica and professional hair care. It was a bad experience and I'm stuck with it for a while. more

I'm writing this not as a client but a vendor. I am a local florist and have been sending my bride's to Jessica for months. The feedback that I have gotten is awesome!!! They all say that Jessica is very professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend Lavande' for your day of beauty!!!!! The style and looks that they create are new and innovative! Stephanie did my up-do and makeup for my wedding, and she is fabulous! She came right to the hotel where our wedding was being held, and did up-do's for 6 people and makeup for 2 of us. We all looked fabulous! Stephanie is a genius with a curling iron and fake eyelashes, and is also prompt, professional, and courteous. Anytime I had a question, I had a thorough email response within a few hours. She was very open to any suggestions I had, and was also able to figure out exactly what I wanted when I was at a loss. Stephanie is fantastic all the way around! You will not be disappointed! more

i found Jessica through word of mouth and was stunned by how beautiful she cut my hair the first time. The cut was perfect, the color was gorgeous, and the styling was beautiful! I thought i had found the one! the second time i went to her i asked for the same cut and color as before and my hair turned from a beautiful rich brown to a horrible red color when the sun hits it and the cut was very jagged. I am not a fan of the razor to cut hair with and thats what she primarily used to cut my hair at least. Shes a very sweet girl and like i said i loved the first time she cut my hair but i wont be going back after what happened to it the last time. more

Boring Brunette to Blonde Bomdshell 5/2/2011

I found Amy through a mutal friend on facebook, She had posted pics of her dramatical change. She was always a burnette and Amy took her to a bombshell blonde! No orange! So I asked her the basic question... Who did your hair?!! I have always wanted to make this change but everytime a hair stylist tried (or me, or my friends), it would turn out orange/brassy and crispy. So I gave up, covered it up with BROWN :( . When I got Amy's number and then made an appointment. She created this color of blonde that I swear (speaking humbley) turns heads. She is AMAZING! I am a true believer in giving credit where credit is due. My hair is shiny and feels like it never has. My hair cut is easily styled and I can wear it in different ways. SO SO happy with my hair. And I will never see anyone else! Run, dont walk! more

Fantastic Wedding Hair! 2/21/2011

Jessica is fantastic! She came highly recommended to me by a friend. I was so lucky to find her to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. She met with me prior to the big day to make sure that everything came out just right, which put my mind at ease. My wedding photos turned out beautiful. I have been going to Jessica ever since. I am always very happy with my color and cut when I leave her salon and I trust her suggestions and creativity. She is a true artist. Her salon reflects her style and personality. If you are looking for that perfect hair on your special day you can?t pick anyone better! more

Best in Albuquerque!! 2/20/2011

I have been going to Jessica for a little over a year now, and have no intention of going to anyone else! I have been to Laru Ni Hati in Nob Hill, Monde Salon on Menaul and Mark Pardo on Juan Tabo and NOBODY comes close to the excellence you get from Jessica! She is amazingly consistant and I always leave there feeling awesome. She is the type of stylist who listens to what you want and KNOWS how to give it to you. Jessica is not just a stylist, she is an artist. more

Jessica Jung has a great flare and knows exactly what you need for your personal color cut and style. My hair is naturally very curly and she has given me the most fitting hair cut for my curls. Once you go to Jessica, you won't want to go anywhere else. -Flossy Schwartz more

Amy is the best hair stylist in the whole world! I have been going to her for about 5 years and I'm never short of amazed at what she does. She's an artist with hair - she takes into account your style and personality. Not to mention she styles your hair amazingly! She is meticulous and skillful. I get compliments on my hair ALL the time. I would recommend her to anyone. Not only does she use high quality products, she will take the time to show you how to use them. Amy is truly a gem in her profession, she has a passion for hair and a commitment to excellence always. The salon itself is lovely. Amy is also an excellent hostess and offers exceptional hospitality to all salon visitors. I feel very cared for and happy there! Incredible Stylist 11/18/2010

Jessica took over the shop from my prior hair stylist, who retired. He was very impressed with her qualifications and extensive education, and he was so right! She is an absolute WONDER and I've never been happier with a stylist! She has a real talent for creating a look that flatters and fits my age and lifestyle. She's also really good with color and has added highlights and lowlights that look wonderful and rich. Jessica's also one of the sweetest, loveliest people I've ever met and has transformed the shop into a cozy and delightful place to spend an hour or so becoming beautiful! more

I have gone through many hair stylist and colorist and Amy is for sure the best. She is suggestive and always gives me new ideas for whats in style. I love the salon, its a very cute and a homey place. Amy recently got the brazillion blowout and let me tell you, its amazing for people with frizzy hair always in a rush to straighten it. It is just like a magic potion and Amy knows all about it. She truly is the best, every time i leave her salon i feel like i got brand new healthy hair. Whats better than that! more

Great Owner and Stylist! 10/25/2010

I just moved from California to New Mexico six months ago. I had a really hard time finding a stylist who understood the kind of highlights and cut that my old stylist did back home. It wasn't until I went to Jessica at Lavande' that I left completely satisfied. Jessica is an expert at what she does and is beyond professional. more

This was one of the best salons i've ever been to. My hairdreser was amazing. Her name is Jessica she has such a great personality and great with hair. I was extremely satisfied with my hair color she picked out for me it looks so great.. I will totally recommend her anyone interested in a nice hair experience. She also gave a great scalp massage. Amy colored my hair a few years ago and now she is cutting and coloring my hair. She is super sweet and really listens to what I want. I always get complements on my cut and color. She is so great and I am very particular about my color. I would recommend her to everyone. more

Lavand? is the cutest salon in Albuquerque! Jessica is wonderful--I cannot say enough good things about her. She's done both my hair and makeup for weddings, in addition to cutting and styling it. She knows exactly what I want-- she can do amazing up-dos or more casual styles as well. Whatever I ask for, it's always perfect! I won't ever go to another stylist. She's incredibly creative and talented, truly a gem. I recommend her to all of my friends. She really listens and gives great advice, and she always can sense what I want even when I can't describe it. Jessica also has lots of fun ideas and knows what will and won't look good on you, how to frame your face, different product recommendations that will work for you, and easy ways to style your hair at home-- it's so easy to trust her. Amy has been coloring and cutting my hair for 4 years now. I'm one of those women that as soon as I see gray roots I have to get in (about every 3 weeks). She is great for working me in because I can never schedule ahead of time. I love it after I get my hair done by her because I don't have to do it myself for about 3 days. I always dread the first time I have to wash it after my appointment with Amy. I'm always looking forward to the next one! Pros: Great Color, Style and Cut more

I have been lucky to find Amy last year. My hair is very difficult to deal with, and I can be tough to please. It took me 6 years here in Albuquerque to find a hairstylist that I would return to. She is IT! She does a great job with my highlights/coloring and haircuts. I have never left disappointed. BTW, my hair looked great for my interview. The job is mine! Thanks! Jessica is FANTASTIC! 4/16/2010

Admittedly, I am a bit picky when it comes to my hair and who does it. That said, I was really impressed by Jessica and the level of patience, care, and excellence she employed when doing my hair! I went to her when I was sick of my dark hair color, and she made me a natural, sunny blonde. It was so important to me that my hair look natural, and she really listened to me as I explained the nuances of what I wanted-- and absolutely did not want. I didn't feel like she was snooty, or annoyed with me-- like I have sometimes felt in other salons. Instead, my experience at her salon was like spending time with a good girlfriend. Best of all, she was really able to interpret what I was going for, and my hair turned out BEAUTIFULLY! It was what I wanted and more. Jessica has really earned my trust as a hairdresser! I will be back! Pros: Very knowledgeable, great organic shampoos/ products. more
