I found this motel to be very cute, quiet, and quaint. Actually I travel a lot and I have never slept as well as I did at the Laurel Villa Motel...it felt like home.
Unlike what someone else said on here the place had very nice sized rooms and the bathroom door was no where near the refrigerator. The were at least 6 feet from each other. The place was extremely safe and I even witnessed the owner turning away a couple of people who were shady to say the least. I wish every hotel/motel would be more selective on who they rent to.
I have told all my friends about it. One couple I know went there a few weeks later and told me how they loved it as well and commented to me that it was a jewel of a place to stay.
It was close to the beach, had a very friendly staff, had free wifi, and also free snacks and coffee/tea.
The room had a refrigerator and microwave. There was even a stove there if I wanted to cook. Plus some of the nearby restaurants were awesome. Briandi's was a little Italian restaurant that was out of this world and the near the beach about 2 miles away was a little hole-in-the-wall seafood restaurant called Pops. Best seafood I have had in a long time!
Anyway...I highly suggest you visit this establishment. My only regret is that I didn't write this review earlier.
Thanks for everything.
