At Laurel Park Animal Hospital their love for animals is clearly evident. The appointments are not rushed; Dr. Pernell takes the time to do a thorough examination, answer questions, and provide education. The office is clean, efficiently run and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences there HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! more

I have been using this facility for years now. I find Laruel Park Animal Hospital has the best prices,and a great compassionate staff. At Laurel Park they are caring, no nonsense, actually treat your pet and do not load you up on medicines and procedures if they are not required. I have always trusted Dr. Pernell s judgement and treatments. I have 3 perfectly healthy dogs to prove his expertise! Doc is well loved and VERY BUSY at times. It is just like going to a human doctor-it is never over quickly! This vet does offer options of monthly plan packages to cut down on annual pet cost. I first met Dr. Pernell in 2006 at his former veterinary practice when I moved to the area with a dog and cat ? both of whom had health issues. I was delighted when he purchased the Laurel Park Animal Hospital as it halved my journey! Dr. Pernell and his staff are to be congratulated for their first rate skills, compassionate care and warm friendly office.\r \r Dr. Pernell always discusses my pets? health and problems in full. When my cat developed hyperthyroidism he went through options and made the necessary referrals. When it was time for BBea, my Shar Pei, to go over the rainbow, he kindly came to the house.\r \r Now I have two young bouncy Cairn Terriers and Dr. Pernell is continuing with their care as well as Sheba, the cat, who still is queen!\r \r Luckily, if you have an emergency, the staff will do everything to fit you into the schedule.
