Great Experience, Great Quality Merchandise 3/23/2011

My friend was shopping for a ring for her husband online as an anniversary gift and she asked me to help her with the purchase because of my past experience in the jewelry industry. I found a man's ring Lauray's was selling online I thought would fit her needs and emailed the link to her. She loved the photo and the price and decided to make the purchase.\r \r The online purchase was very quick and easy and the ring was shipped to her immediately. When the ring arrived, she asked me to come over and take a look at it and make sure everything was okay with it. The ring was exactly as described, and in my opinion it was a great value for her money.\r \r Her husband loved the ring and when they took it to have it sized and appraised, it was valued at more than twice what she paid.\r \r Mindy S. more

Watch Collector-Great Experience at Lauray?s 3/16/2011

I was visiting Hot Springs and saw a friend wearing a Philip Stein watch at a party. I fell in love with the watch and showed up at Lauray?s the next morning to try one on. Not only did I have a great time trying on several different versions of the watch, but the owner of Lauray?s and I played around for quite a while with all of the different band options until we found exactly the styles that suited me best. I collect watches and have to say that my Philip Stein watch from Lauray?s is absolutely one of my favorites and the experience I had at Lauray?s was terrific. Sallye J. more

Highly Recommend 2/13/2011

I had a group of loose stones that came from a ring my grandmother had given me, from a ring my father had given my mother and a few more out of a ring my parents had given to me as a teenager. I had no idea what to do with the various shapes and sizes of the stones that came from three generations of my family. I did know I wanted a ring that would be comfortable to wear every day. I took the stones to Mark Fleischner at Lauray?s . Mark worked with a jewelry designer to create a ring from the stones that not only will I enjoy for many years, but that will give me pleasure to pass down the next generation in our family. I get compliments on this ring quite often and am always happy to have the opportunity to tell people how much I think of Lauray?s. I highly recommend Lauray?s The Diamond Center. more

Snobby small town store... but why? 12/14/2010

The attitude of the staff and owners is pretentious. Apparently, if you are not often photographed for Life and Home you are not as special as those who are. It's worth a trip out of town to avoid shopping here. more

The people have bad attitudes, prices are ridiculous all around stinks. They claim to have great prices and pay the highest for estate jewelry or scrap, WRONG. Be smart stay away. The other good reviews are family, friends or employees with out a doubt. more

Spectacular Experience 12/21/2008

I have been in many stores over the years and none is as caring, good and comfortable as this one. The selection is very good and also has many modifications that can be made to almost any item to accommodate your needs. An in house jeweler and the owner, who is third generation, have the understanding of how to get it done. Give them a try and form your own opinion about the experience. more

Lauray's 3/21/2007

My husband and I had bought each other a loose stone for our wedding band and decided to get them custom made. We decided to go to Lauray's. My wedding ring turned out ok, it wasn't exactly how we wanted it. And my husband's turned out great, at first. After a month the bottom side of his European shank started showing some impurities. (It looked like a cheap ring that chips and you can see the metal underneath).We took it in, they sent it off, and it came back totally messed up. The european shank is square and it came back like a rhombus shape, totally uneven. And some parts were slanted and uneven. It looked like crap. So they sent it off again, though I made it known that I was reluctant.So again it comes back messed up. It was maybe 10% better. The guy (Jason) we had been working with this whole time got an attitude when I asked if he seen the same thing I was seeing. He said, "I don't know what to tell you!" I asked if he could tell me what company they sent the ring to and he go more

An Old Establishment in Hot Springs 8/18/2005

Lauray's has been around for many years. They designed a wedding ring for me at a very reasonable price. In fact, when I had to have a ring re-sized and they discovered the gold was too thin to do the job properly, they did it the more expensive, correct way and still charged me the lower price. They are very interested in developing and keeping their customers, and that means a lot. more
