This place is gross. The staff and owners are strung out. If you are looking for a hole in the wall than this place is it. They just got busted for illegal activities.

All bars are the same, right? Wrong! I actually had known about this place for years but never gave it a chance til recently. The thing that made this place different for me was the people. And my bartender wasn't just some one putting a jager bomb infront of me, she was actually happy to see me! If ur looking to b a regular in a place ""where everybody knows your name"" this is definitely the place. more

Something for EVERYONE 1/19/2010

The Last Great Watering Hole has made a lot of changes recently. The menu has been upgraded, Wi-Fi has been added. They have poker on Tues and Thurs night that is fun for everyone, even beginners. Pool tournaments happen on Wed. night and they have live music every weekend. If you sign up to be a VIP (it's FREE) you can play pool for free on Tues and Thurs., get discounts on food and drinks AND you get $25 credit on your birthday. (Birthday Bucks) They recently gave away 2 Las Vegas trips while I was there! This place ROCKS! The staff is great. Their attitude makes the place fun and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend it to ANYONE that wants to have a good time. Pros: Live Music/Good Food/Lots of pool tables/Poker/ Fun Times! Cons: A little hard to find more

Don't Book Your Band Here 1/15/2010

Do you like getting double booked? Cheated? Lied to? Then The Last Great Watering Hole is for you. Don't book your band here it's a dump and you will get screwed over. I know a former booking agent and several bands that have been ripped off by Misty the owner. This place attracts low life's, gang bangers and criminals, not a place I want to spend my money or be caught dead in. Furthermore, The Tucker Saloon is worse, Ed the owner is worse than Misty. And The Tucker Saloon attracts gun carrying drug dealers, gang bangers and low life jerks. Oh by the way he will screw you over by double booking, writing a check when promised cash (good luck cashing it) for less than was agreed upon and will cancel a band with no notice, stay away from these dumps Pros: None it's a dump Cons: Double Booking, Dishonest Owner more

Late Night Live Music Venue 9/15/2008

One of the last old time live rock venues left in the Atlanta metro area. Every seat is a good one to see the stage or watch the crowd. Big Plus - There is usually no charge at the door and prices are reasonable. Music can go to 3:45 AM Pros: Free Parking, Free Admission most of the time Cons: Hard to find for newbies - located behind a Liquor Store , Music just on weekends more

Bands beware 2/24/2007

Smooth Lime Groove was scheduled to perform here Sat.., Feb. 24, 2007 having been booked by the club manager since December 2006 when the band was booked at the same time for New Year's Eve there. After phoning the manager 3 days in advance of this show and leaving word to contact the band if there were any problems, no return call was received. When Smooth Lime Groove arrived on Sat., Feb. 24, 2007 to set up to play, it was discovered 4 young hard, heavy, alternative-like bands were scheduled for that night instead. The young man who said he handled bookings now for the past 1-2 months said Smooth Lime Groove was not ""on the books."" He stated that this has happened to other bands 2-3 times already. Fun place to hang out and rock 6/4/2002

Worth the drive for intowners. More suburbanites need to check this place out. It's a top notch showcase style music venue. The sound and lighting system are grand. Consistently good drinks and a friendly wait staff. Depending on the night of the week, entertainment may either be open mic or polished rock bands on the way up. I've been there many times by myself and with groups of friends. It feels safe for a single girl to hang out there alone. The police always walk me to my car!
