i have been wearing glasses and contacts since i was 9 years old. my vision was negative 7 and 8.5. when i decided to do lasik i did research for over a year trying to find the right doctor that would help me with me vision. some doctors refused to even do the surgery becuase my case was slightly more complicated then normal. when i found lasik today and met dr kao i immediately felt secure. lasik today observed me for about a year until they gave me a scheduled procedure date. my recovery took about a week but as i said i knew my recovery would take slightly longer then regular. my vision now a year after the surgery is 20/15 i am more than happy with the procedure and would recomend lasik today to anyone. I totally recommend Lasik Today! Dr. Hrach Kourouyan did a terrific job, and I can honestly say it's paid off. He is so precise in every detail and he gives his all to it. The service here is just great...I recommend this place for everyone who wants a good job done. I did the PRK, and Im so happy!!!! more

I had PRK done by Dr MacDonald and he did a great job. I loved him and would recommend him for sure. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the office manager Valerie. I received an email from her several weeks back, a few months actually and she asked me to go online and write a good review about Lasik today and they would send a Starbucks gift card. Well the gift card never came. I even emailed her about it and she has ignored me. Pretty tacky practice. She is not doing the doctors any favors by trying to bribe people into writing a good review for something she has no intentions of sending. I would keep that in mind when dealing with them. Dr. MacDonald gets 5 stars,,, Valerie gets 1 star. So I split the difference. more

For many years I wore glasses, as well as contacts due to my poor eyesight. I always thought of correcting my vision through laser, but kept putting it off. At the L.A. County Fair, I was given some information on the procedure, and a discount if I would have it done. I was still skeptical about doing it, but when I got a phone call for the consultation, I went for it. The staff is really curteous and friendly, Dr. Kao was great and made me feel comfortable. Surgery was done in less than 5 minutes and virtually painless. Now, I could see better, and it's onle been a week. more

Lasik Today lied to me about my vision! they told me my vision is going to be like seeing BLACK and WHITE to COLOR right after the surgery...it has now been almost a year since my surgerys...i had the first one in march of 2009 and they did a touch up surgery on my left eye wich was my good eye in november of 09...which made it worse...i now have scars in both of my eyes which will never go away...that they never told me about before or after the surgery...i had to go to another doctor and she told me this...(the doctor i went to for a check up was my doctor that i had been going to since day one since i was in the 1st grade...i am now 23 years old...i stopped going to her because she told me my left eye was 20 20 and i didnt need to go anymore...Lasik Today did 2 urgerys on my left eye...before the surgery i told them why i had stopped wearing glasses and why i stopped going to the doctor...because my doctor told me that i dont need to go anymore...they looked at my like i was crazy,..and didnt take into concideration that maybe we should do further testing...assuming they are "professional" and "expericanced" but ovbiously not because my original doctor told me...looking at the vision tests lasik today did on my eyes she wold have never recomended lasik surgery...and that my eyes could have been fixed with glasses...lasik today told me if i dont do the surgery then i have to wear glasses for the rest of my life...and now after the surgery theyre telling me i have to get readding glasses...but no one told me before the surgery that i might need glasses they neer told me about side effect like dryness which i will have for the rest of my life...and the scars in my eyes which are causing me to see glares at night i cant use the computer normally like i use to...because i can hardly see...before i had no problem at all...please get at least 3 opinions before anyone deided to do lasik surgery this is a really serious procedure...and make sure ur going to a credited place and do lots of research...DO NOT go to LASIK TODAY...theyre a fraud...
