I came into Petland for the first time last week and it was amazing! Christina was great. She was so sweet and willing to go above and beyond to find something for me. You can tell that she was very passionate about her job. Everyone is willing to give a helping hand and they make the customers feel like they're number one. Oh, and ALL the dogs are super cute! more

My husband and I went into the Boca Park PetLand location, looking for a yorkie. We found one and I instantly fell in love with her! My husband wanted to wait and look around; she was a little expensive too $1200... So we looked and I couldn't stop thinking about her! I went back and purchased her for $800, 2 weeks later! It was a 30th birthday gift for me from my husband! The staff was awesome, going out of their way to help me and instruct me on what to do. I had only had kittens before so puppies were new to me! I got all the paperwork, guarantees, blah blah and it was perfect! I have nothing but good things to say about PetLand.. I think it is a personal decision to get a puppy and if I had held my dog and she was sick, lethargic or acting funny, there is no way I would have gotten her! I took her immediately to the vet, the next day, and my vet told me how I was very lucky to have a healthy, happy puppy and how sweet she is. I truly believe that you run the risk of a sick dog no matter where or when you buy one.... even from a breeder themselves. The staff and the manager especially were adamant about me bringing her in periodically to show the staff as they remembered the sweet little Yorkie! And I do bring her back and they LOVE her... they all take turns with her and remember how fun she was! My opinion is this: be careful and cautious no matter where you buy a puppy.... nobody forces you to buy one and if there are some signs of a sickness, run.... why wouldn't you?! Boca Park either has new management staff or has done a 360 since the last reviews.... go, get one, take care of it, and you won't regret it! Pros: Great staff, great selection of puppies, not pushy Cons: Price was high but they worked with me more
