We came here because other places on the river were so crowded. We had great food in a great setting. The service was attentive and not obtrusive. It was a delightful evening...

Worst

Nice variety of tapas and a gorgeous space -- But, just a hotel restaurant--- service was lame and slow and seemed unknowledgable--esspecially when it came to drinks and wine!!! ...

The food was excellent as was the atmosphere. However, the service was extremely disapointing. We did complain the the management after we went home. They did offer to make it right Pros: Excellent Food, Excellent Atmosphere Cons: Poor Waiter more

Pretty good for the river 2/23/2006

Went there based upon reviews from this site. The food was wonderful, the paella for 2 was really for 3. We could have made a meal on the tapas (but don't) Good spanish wine selection. The problem, no attmosphere. the place is just a dining room for a hotel kind of sterile. The band outside in the courtyard bar sounded great but we couldn't stay. The one thing that would bring me back is that the tables on the river might be better, we will try them in the spring. Pros: valet parking, spanish food Cons: no atmosphere, downtown more

One of SA's finest 1/23/2006

This is one of the top 5 restaurants in SA. Entrees from $15 to $30 present an amazing value for the quality of product. Very nice decor and good service. The chef is new to SA, but will make a mark among the likes of the chefs from E'toile, Bistro Vatel, The Lodge, Las Canarias, and Biga on the Banks. I highly, highly recommend this place for special occasions and intimate dates. Pros: Food, Ambience, Value more

Great food! Horrible Service! 12/2/2005

I am new in town and this is on the best places I have seen so far. The food is just delicious, the ambience is just what you need for that special moment, and I really would like to highly reccomend this place except for one thing: SERVICE. The waitress tried to be nice all the time, but she took for ever to bring things to the table and kept forgetting constantly simple things like extra water or more wine or bread and desserts and so on. It was a pity... I would certanliy go back provided that I do not get the same waitress. more
