Vets knew about pancreatitis/IBS. THEY wanted to treat ""their way"" after my taking care of this dog for 2 years with this illness. I tried their med instead of the one she was controled on and she had a real bad attack. Then I forgot to get a med previously prescribed. When I requested it, I was told I would have to pay 10.00 for their time to write it as they carried the drug in the office (at a more expensive cost). I personally don;t like a vet who is supposed to service my pet and myself doing this. I feel this is small , petty and surely not holding with the profession of a veterinarian. I understand others in the vet world are hearing how lucrative it is and may begin doing the same thing. When I and My animal are put into this situation we will seek real professional help!
Pros: seemed knowledgable about the illness my dog had
Cons: wanted to do their thing / then charge for writing script
