UnHappy Hour 6/13/2008

The Franz Rd and Henderson Rd locations should discontinue ""Happy Hour"" completely. Also, I would suggest EVERY person there take a course on how to treat, not only customers, but all people. Everytime I have visited these locations I have to send the bill back because they always put the regular price instead of the Happy Hour price. When the bill comes they put the time the bill was printed rather than the time you place your order. I find this to be a total lack of concern for customers. The people working there seem to have this attitude that the customers are stupid and are treated as such. I like the food and drinks, but will never ever go to ANY Las Margaritas again and will tell this story over and over. Evenings out with friends should be fun and I would rather go somewhere the management does not treat you like a child. more

USED AND ABUSED 6/11/2008

FIRST OFF, THE MANAGER SCREAMED AT ME UNTIL MY HEAD BLEEDED. SECOND OFF, HE HITT ME IN THE FACE WITH HIS BROWN SNAKESKIN BELT. THIRDLY, THE SALSA GAVE ME DIARRHHEA AND I SHAAT IT OUT UNTIL IT HURT AND I BLEDD AGAIN. VERY BLOODY THIS PLACE. FOURTHLY, THE SERVER WHIPPED IT OUT AND TEABAGGED THE SALSA. A LITTLE ""SURPRISE"" PLACED IN THE BURRITO. ON A POSITIVE NOTE, MY BUSBOY DID A GOOD ""JOB"", IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. ONE EXTRA STAR FOR THAT. Pros: THE BUSBOY Cons: THE SALSA more

AVOID 6/6/2008

I have been going to Las Margaritas since they were at Tuttle Mall and I have to say prior to yesterday have had overrall a good experience. However, a few months back a couple co-workers and myself got carryout for lunch and the order was not complete (amongst other things). I called and spoke to the manager who could not understand me so he put a young lady on the phone (I'm guessing the one that answers the phones) so she could interpret the issues. She asked me for my name and said that the next time we were in that we would have two free entrees on them. Pros: Quantity of food Cons: Overrall service more

Avoid at all costs 6/6/2008

Let me just tell you, the management and service at this place was atrocious. We had a group of 8 co-workers and went in for dinner after work. First of all, we were not told upon entering that the restaurant would be without air conditioning for the duration of our meal. The inside temperature was literally over 100 degrees and everyone was dripping sweat by the end of dinner service. With regard to ""service"", it was not very good either. Our server did not frequent the table often and we had to track her down just to get what we needed. The beer was the same temperature as the surrounding area when it arrived, salsa was weak and water- down, it took a very long time to get to- go boxes, and our checks. Following dinner, we requested to speak with a manager because of the fact that nobody was even able to finish their meals due to the heat. He did not apologize whatsoever, was irritated, did not take a percentage off anyone's meal, and talked down to everyone like we were infants. In addition, the servers who had overheard everything were laughing. To top that off, we had ordered from this restaurant once prior to going out for dinner that evening. The order we placed that afternoon on lunch break was completely wrong and when we talked to someone over the phone, they promised to write down our name and provide us with two complimentary entrees our next time in. Upon mentioning this to the manager as well, he refused to check on what had been written down and stated harshly that ""nothing is free"". He elaborated that McDonald's would not just credit someone for free dinners and that it was our responsibility to talk directly to him- we apparently had erred in judgment by speaking to anyone else over the phone. My response to him was that even McDonald's takes care of its customer service base, and if they had mixed up an order, they would admit it and take responsibility. Evidently, nothing we said seemed to matter to this individual. We will not be back. The end. Pros: We made it out alive Cons: The entire experience more

BEST MEXICAN I HAVE EVER HAD! 11/30/2007

WOW! The food here was fabulous! My family and I all ordered different entrees and they were all amazing! Pros: 2 thumbs up! Cons: average service more

I have no idea how this place made it to top mexican! 4/19/2007

When we first came, they were gonna put us in a booth where there were crumbs all over the floor. So we asked to be seated somewhere else. The other booth had ""less"" crumbs on the floor. I guess they just don't bother to clean up before seating customers. We ordered steak fajitas and carne asada. The meat didn't have a good taste to it, like it was old meat. Steak fajitas were very dry with bland taste. Carne asada meat was the same way, very bland uuughgh. I would not recommend this place to anybody. I'd rather go to my old places, Casa Fiesta & El Vaquero. Cons: bland food, expensive, dirty more

Food is great; margaritas weak 5/4/2005

Love the food! Burritos mexicanos are excellent, as are the quesadillas. Have yet to get a decent margarita though; all a bit too sweet for my taste. I like mine with a little kick, you know? Pros: Great food Cons: Weak drinks more

Best fajitas in town 4/30/2005

When La Costa closed we struggled to find a new mexican restaurant. Although this is not very close to our house we have gone several times just for the combo fajitas. One order is enough for both my wife and I (with an extra order of tortillas). Pros: Fajitas, Price, Quantity more

Some Margaritas? 5/16/2003

Kind of a strange name for a restaurant but I suppose that is not the important thing. The food is! Stopped by for lunch and we were impressed by the variety on the menu. The protions were large and the food was tasty. Cool atmosphere too, there is a brick fireplace in the center of the dining area. There is also outside seating. Pros: Variety more
