don't know her name but she'll stand behind the counter, see you are done with the meal, then keep watching people outside or in the restaurant. Go back to Honduras sweetie

This place has the worst service ever. All of the waitresses are extremely rude/racist to anyone who is not a regular. The food itself was great which kept me coming back but after being given attitude time after time I cannot stand to go there anymore. Once again the food is great but the terrible service far outweighs the good food. Not worth it. more

They have very good sandwiches, excellent cafe con leche and on Thursday they have an Oxtail that's out of this world. The service is slow but they are very nice and the food is very good! more

Want a jolt? Cafe con leche the best in area! 9/21/2010

The coffee's to die for, whether you just step up at the window, or go inside for one of the breakfast specials. I usually go for the simple, like bacon and eggs. Comes with the usual, and home fries, the delicious cuban toast, and an endless cup of cafe con leche. For like $3. 95 can't be beat, since that java's gonna cost ya over $2.00 anyway. Decor? Simple Price? Cheap Food? Very Good Thumbs up for this place, and Juan, the owner, looks like he really cares if you enjoy. Come here over the weekend and people watch. Quite an eclectic crowd. more

Best Tostones in Broward County (Fried Green Plantains) 4/28/2008

As a true hispanic, I tend to try every little or big latin restaurant by my house or work. Las Colinas has a variety of foods that are to die for from the Grouper to the Carne Asada (Grilled Steak). They take the time to recommend a meal and take pride in cooking it from Grouper to the Carne Asada (Grilled Steak). Their customer service is good and the waitress always have a smile on their faces. Pros: Price, variety Cons: Parking spaces more

SABOR CUBANO 9/14/2007

The food.....excellent, The service......very hospitable, The atmosphere.....original, believeable; as if u were in LiL Havanna. If you want the taste of authentic Cuban/Latin food, Las Colinas is the place to go. The food is that of what Mom would make.....actually better..shhh make sure you never tell her that!!! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for real Latin cuisine at affordable prices. I have had other Latin food in Florida and it does not compare.....The Scrimp Scampi with Tostones and mojo are a personal favorite a must try for your first meal. If you are unable to have a sit down and enjoy the experience of this place don't fret, you can have a beer at the counter while you wait or place an order thru their pick up window.....But I highly recommend you go on in to fully absorb the experience of Las Colinas!!! more

Closest, but not the BEST! 3/27/2007

As a natually born Venezuelan living in Ft. Lauderdale/Wilton Manors, I've found that we're in the black-hole of latin food! Having more than enough to pick from in Miami, some really good places north of Pompano and just recently being graced by a Don Pan. When I moved to Wilton Manors, I was pleasently surprised to find Las Colinas, a Cuban/Latin restaurant within walking distance and centraly located. Although the food has never been the absolute best I've ever tasted, I was pleased with the fact that I was getting my latin fix regularly and able to let my expectations slip a bit. A few months ago, while attempting to subdue my latin food hunger, I ordered the ""Ropa Vieja"", shredded beef with peppers and a usually easy great taste. I don't usually eat there, instead order the food for pick-up and enjoy it in the comfort of my home. When I arrived home with my food and started to prepare for the chow-down, I noticed a slight smell of fish and ignored it assuming only that the smell had clenched to the bag or container. Once served and looking forward to enjoying it, I took my first bite, which was absolutely disgusting. My shredded beef tasted like fish!!! I didn't even know they serve fish!! Immediately I called them back and informed them of the situation to which they first requested I bring it back then offered to replace it a later time just by referring to the circumstances. Yesterday I was in need of a latin fix and called them to order and receive replacement of the food I was not able to eat last time. I was told that they wold not replace it due to the time passed between the incident and reordering. Again, I wasn't thrilled with the food originally and now found it not terribly hurtful to NOT eat there any more, but wanted to pass this information on. For those WIlton Manors' locals, check out ""Punta del Este"" - the food is more authentic and they won't charge you extra for those little things that should be included anyways! Pros: location Cons: food quality, customer service, pricing more
