I have been dealing with Larsen's Feed for twenty eight years for my quarter horses and germansheperds needs, their hay is always of good quality they keep well stocked of all the bedding, grain and supplement's I use and as far as my germansheperd goes...my mother is a top breeder and highly recommends eagle brand dog food, you know you never defy your mother...Larsen's is always well stocked in the dog department too. My Granddaughter loves it 2/9/2009

Very knowledgeable, helpful people. My Granddaughter wants to bring all the chickens, ducks and other critters home. Very nice gifty items too. Prices are very good. more

More that Feed 12/22/2008

I like to stop at Feed stores to see what other items they have for horses.\r \r Larsen's had a great selection of cards, and Magazines and gifty things for horses.\r \r It is hard to find horse items in my area, so while passing thru Cotati, I stocked up on cards.\r I would recommend this store, and it was busy while I was there with folks getting hay for their animals.\r \r Just remember, one way in and one way out. so you may have to wait for someone loading hay etc. on the way to the exit. more

Great Feed Store 7/2/2008

They have been in business for years and have great prices on feed. They have some supplies for dogs and cats but specialize in feed for the larger animals. more

  • In 1947 Bob's parents purchased the property on Gravenstein Highway and moved their dairy from Sonoma to Cotati. In 1968 Henry and Marie retired and Bob and Alice purchased the dairy. In 1973 the cows were sold to two local dairymen. The barn was full of hay. January 1, 1974, Bob and Alice started selling the hay. Customers asked for poultry feed, dog food, grains etc. As they requested items, Bob and Alice listened and added to their inventory. Larsen's today is well respected for their honesty and nutritional advice and is one of the most complete feed and pet supply centers in the county. Known for quality and a variety of hays, grains, pet foods, tack and supplies, they still listen to their customers..
