Some of my coworkers at Insitu referred me to Dr. Larry. Goodbye old chiro and hello Dr. Larry. Super nice office, love the fact I can just walk in without an appointment, and by far and above the best spinal adjustments I've ever had. \r Also, he does not put you on a plan to come back a bazillion times and does not sell you those supplements that don't work and only line the Dr. pocketbook! \r In my 25 years going to chiropractors, he is best. \r \r Was also not suprised to learn that Rebound Ortho. refers to him. more

I went to Zega in hood river...........couldn't get my middle back to pop. Went to Mitzi in Stevenson........she couldn't get my back to pop. Tried Doug B. in White Salmon.........same result as the previous two. Was having a beer at the big river grill chatting with a friend of mine discussing my lack of progress with finding a good back cracker when a guy by the name of John who works there over heard me and said go see my guy. I immediately replied back, can he actually adjust..........he said that he is the best around and that if I didn't think so after seeing him that lunch and beer would be on him the next time I came into the bar.\r 1 visit and he got more pops out of my back than the past 10 years of adjustments I've had combined. I had so much relief I couldn't believe it and would have gladly paid 4 times more than what he charged me. My PA, Connie Strom from North Shore medical group sent me to see Dr. Larry after I was rear ended, saying that he is the best and that this is where she goes for care. Well..........................I couldn't agree with her more!!!!!\r Just like Connie said, he has a very straight forward, knowledgeable and experienced approach. Adjustments I received were perfect. \r He referred me for massage therapy, both in his Stevenson office and his east Vancouver office. I was very happy with the accessibility of being able to see him or the massage therapists at two locations all week. Phil Wendell and current Bulldog coach Waymire recommended my son and I go see Dr. Larry. I was involved in a pretty bad car accident and went to see him, first in his Vancouver office, then up in Stevenson. His office manager, Trish, handled all my paperwork etc., I was so stressed out with everything, but she took care of it all with my insurance company and explained to me everything that was going to happen and what to do and not to do. Dr. Larry was great, incredibly good adjuster and explains everything to you in an easy to understand way and does not sell you the BULL like other Chiropractors, just as Phil and David told me he does not do. Rebound Orthopedics in Portland referred me to Dr. W. One word, ""awesome""!!! He explained things to me in an easy to understand way that my other providers failed to do. As others have said, he does not put you on a ""plan"" to come back on, he leaves the decision making up to you of when to seek treatment, first Chiropractor that I've seen that has done that. Vancouver front office staff is terrific to boot! more

Tried 2 chiropractors in Hood R., 1 in White Salmon, and 1 in Camas without any success. I told this to my primary provider, Deana Dahl with North Shore Medical Group, she promptly said ""go see Dr. Larry in Stevenson"". I did and won't be needing to look anymore. I felt more relaxed than ever as he has a very calm confidence when treating you, easily the best adjustments I have experienced. I read the reviews below before leaving mine and can concur wholeheartedly with all those below. more

2 months ago I finally found a great Chiro. upon the advice of a coworker referring me to Doc Larry. No selling or B.S, and doesn't sit down and make up some stupid plan for you to come back in on. Love the staff at the Vancouver office. Trish, the office manager at the Vancouver office is great, I call her the insurance guru, any questions I've had she was always there to help me with them, unlike most offices it seems the gals doing the billing are clueless bimbos, or the offices don't even do their own billing so they really have no idea of what's going on. Trish actually cleared up some problems I was having at another clinic where they weren't billing stuff properly, she saved me about 500 bucks!! \r Doc W. is terrific, sharp as a tack and fabulous adjusting skills. If you are looking for an awesome chiropractor look no further and see Doc Larry, but if you are looking for a sales pitch, go to a used car lot or another chiropractor. more

In town competing in the World Cup Sailing event and our teams were in serious need of a good chiropractor. We asked people in Cascade Locks and some people at a few of the eating establishments in Stevenson who they recommended, one name kept getting repeated, Dr. Larry in Stevenson. Dr. Larry was awesome................I've never been impressed by chiro. blokes, but from the ones I've seen and the opinions of our team members, we all agreed that he has been the best, extremely knowledgeable and a superb adjuster. John Schaeffer at the Big River Grill told me I should see Dr. Larry. John made me laugh, he said he calls Dr. Larry ""magic hands"" and that he is athletic and fit. I've been an athlete all my life and have tried several chiro's over the years so I'm a pretty good judge of their skills. Dr. Larry is in a league of his own when it comes to adjusting, nothing I had in the past came close. Do like that the Doc grew up playing competitve hockey and still follows it, as I'm a hockey nut at heart. Was that not a crazy Stanley Cup this year or what! more

My wife and I live in Goldendale, WA and drive all the way to Stevenson just to see Doc Larry. Some friends from Carson told us we really should try him because he is an excellent adjuster. Other chiropractors I've seen always told me I'm extremely hard to adjust because I'm a bigger guy, Doc Larry never has a problem popping my entire back, and he does it without the use of those dumb fancy tables that do nothing but make noise and hurt my back. more

I had never considered seeing a chiropractor, but after seeing Dr. Jerod Cottrill at Rebound that changed. Rebound is known for treating the elite athletes, Trail Blazers and such, so if they are the go to place for them, then I'd say they come pretty highly recommended. Dr. Cottrill was great, he said I wasn't ready for surgery but that it would likely be inevitable down the road but he did want me to see a chiropractor, and that he and several other docs there only refer to one Dr. that they trust, and that was Dr. Larry. Living in Stevenson I was shocked to learn that he comes up here twice a week. Dr. Larry was awesome, he was very patient, informative and knowledgeable, and pretty much verified everything that Dr. Cottrill told me about eventually needing surgery. Dr. Larry said you may not want to have surgery but you will eventually need to have it done and that he would try to manage my condition until that day comes, and when it comes he will be the first to refer me back to Rebound to have it done. Having lived in many cities across the US I have seen more Chiropractors than I care to count. Dr. Larry is the best I've seen over the past 20 years hands down. If you want someone who is extremely knowledgable, can really adjust you and not waste your time he is the guy, if you are looking for the hocus pocus type look elsewhere. more

A buch of my buddies that I golf with told me to go see Dr. Larry. My buddy Doug Mckenzie kept nagging at me to see him as I kept complaining of my back pain everytime we went golfing. My buddies said that he treats a large number of golfers and golf pro's. Well, I've seen him for the past few 4 weeks now, and all I can say is that I should have went a long time ago! It's hard to believe that 3-4 years of constant back pain would even get better. I'm about 90% better overall and extremely satisfied with how much more golf I can play now with much less pain. I really like that Dr. Larry is an avid golfer, single digit handicap I hear, and understands the golf swing from a players and doctors point of view. He gave me stretching exercises for my golf swing and also for my low back pain and also some drills for the range. I like that he has a very low key approach and like many have said below that he doesn't tell you to come back a million times. He told me ""I'm here to help you when you need it, and not the other way around, when you wanna come in, then come, if you don't then hit the links & hit em straight""! more

Tweaked my back lifting a beer keg and had back pain for a few weeks that just wouldn't go away. Tried some dingaling Chiro. in White Salmon first, went once, he wanted me to come 3 times a week for like 4 weeks and told me all this stuff was wrong with me, they wanted like 800 bucks for this care. I was like....this ain't going to work for me........smelled like a rip off!!!!!. Oh and he tried to adjust me with this stupid looking little thing that clicked............telling me it was superior to hands on adjusting????????? All I thought was why do some professions attract so many weirdos?\r \r I saw an ad. in the paper for another chiro. up here that I thought I would try, but the 5 or 6 people I asked said don't bother, wait and see Dr. Larry, he can actually adjust you and is worth the wait. I guess Dr. Larry only comes up to Stevenson two days a week, I was told his main clinic is in East Vancouver, good to know as I'm always around that area for one reason or another. \r \r I called his Vancouver office to make an appt. the day before and the gal on the phone told me that the Stevenson office is all ""walk in"" no appointment needed, flipping awesome I said!!!! Walked in on a Tues. and it was the easiest visit I've ever had at a Dr.'s office. Visit was just what I was looking for, no wasted time, a great ""popping"" back adjustment with no BS, he told me that there really wasn't anything wrong with me, the complete opposite of what the ding bat told me in White Salmon. I guess Dr. Larry was right as I left his office with about 90% of my symptoms gone, just what I was looking for, better yet I woke up the next day with no pain. Most of my staff go to Dr. Larry and they told me I should go to him as I could hardly move and walk around my office from severe back pain, well that was several years ago, and shall we say the rest is history. I still recall the first few visits and was shocked at how quickly and how much better I felt. His approach was and still is straight forward, non-complicated, professional, and extremely knowledgable. I pop in and see him usually about once or twice a month just to keep everything moving and feeling better.\r \r I also like that he doesn't have the attitude that Chiro. care is a cure all or fix for every problem. \r \r Example given, when I sent my wife to see him, she had been having severe neck and arm pain for 2 months, her primary gave her meds, sent her to PT, tried some steroid shots, nothing helped. \r I told her to go see Dr. Larry. She did, he told her that he wouldn't touch her without an MRI given her symptoms, he got an MRI of her neck the same day she saw him, he got the results the next day and his office made an appointment with a highly respected Neurosurgeon in Portland later that week, 5 days later she had SURGERY!!! \r She woke up after the surgery pain free, and has been that way since, she thanks Dr. Larry every time she seems him of how quick he was to diagnose her problem and get her the help she needed. \r \r Big thank you goes out to his office manager Trish, as she took care of all the insurance side of things with the authorizations, problems etc. She knew just how to make things happen and make it happen quickly, If it wasn't for her we could have waited weeks and weeks for the surgery. \r \r PS: Nice remodel on the Stevenson office guys!!!! I love, love, Dr. Larry. Smart, funny, and an awesome chiropractor. He was recommended by the servers I work with at Skamania Lodge. I have been seeing him as needed for the past 3-4 months and couldn't be happier!! He tells me to come back when I want, which I love. \r \r Don't know why but I did try the gal in town before Doc Larry, but she really couldn't adjust me and didn't even get my back to ""pop"". \r \r I still remember being shocked after my first visit with Dr. Larry and commenting ""is my back suppose to pop that much"", I walked outta there like I was floating on a cloud and thought this is why people go to chiro's, to feel this way.\r \r Oh, and as Jessie mentioned below in her review, ""he is easy on the eyes"", I'm with you girl on that one, wink, wink! more

Read the reviews here and thought I had nothing to lose since I got tired of driving to Hood River ..........well I have to say the reviews were spot on!!! Finally a Chiro. that doesn't want my last nickel and sell me crap I don't want or need. Definitely the nicest Chiro. office I have been to. Adjustment he did was spot on, best I had for sure. I like that he is athletic and in very good shape, not like my last, lazy, tubby chiro. I also like what one reviewer stated below about him making insurance work, didn't charge me a copay and told me I wouldn't be seeing a bill ever! I have also been to his East Vancouver office a few times and love, love, his staff there, his office manager Trish is the best!!! She is one smart cookie that one, she explained all my insurance stuff and helped me a bunch with my Flex account. Great people, great service, great offices, 5 stars all the way around. more

My primary, Deanna Doll in White Salmon sent me to Doc. Larry, she said that she has sent many people to him over the years because she has heard nothing but good things from people who go to him. Let's just say it's been the best thing she ever did for me!!!! Love how much better I felt after a few adjustments, gave me great advice and explained to me what was really going on. And for you ladies out there let's just say that he is very easy on the eyes, which of course I totally didn't mind at all, wink, wink!! more
