Lara Group

I strongly recommend to be carefull with this firm. My real name is André Carlos de Amorim Pimentel Filho and I live in Brazil. I rented an apartament by Lara Group almost four months last year. A month before my moving out date I was asked if I wanted to use the credit of the security deposit for paying the last month and be payed the rest of credit that I had after the check-out. I accepted, for my sorrow! At first the land lord, named Justin Tseng, framed the lie that I had broken the sofa-bed. Even with the broker, named Rachida, saying that it was already broken before my stay it was charged, and the firm accepted this. And there was more! I kindly requested to be payed (discounted the price of the sofa-bed fixing) by wire transfer, which was the form that I had used to pay them. In vain! Then I asked to credit a friend of mine who live in USA, what should be enough to avoid any inconvenience. It was important because I knew I would have extreme difficulties to deposit a foreing check in Brazil. Nothing done another time! Finaly, they sent me a check with my name written incorrectly, which makes impossible to be credited. Conclusion: I was stolen about $ 400,00. more

Within days we moved and all of the paperwork was handled quickly and efficiently. And, in an unbelievable above-and-beyond act, Liz actually helped pack and physicallly move our possessions. I just stayed for 45 days in a nice 1 bedroom in the Teather District. I am extremely happy with the service provided by Lara Group. Thanks to Rachida (my agent), finding a unit that fitted my expectations in NYC was not the tiresome process that I had previously experienced with other brokers – it was rather straightforward as she was open about what the options and focused in getting things done. She was also particularly proactive to offer help as I had minor issues with the wifi and internet. Overall, I highly recommend Lara Group ! more
