Lapierre's Auto Repair

Two words to describe Lapierre Auto is trustworthy and honest. I was introduced by a friend about two years ago when I got an outrageous quote to have work done on my car. He suggested I try Lapierre for a second opinion and that was the best thing I ever did. Two years later I am still going to Lapierre and I cannot say enough about how pleased I am. I am a female who drives about 100 miles per day-I need reliable transportation and can't afford to have my car tied up for long periods of time. I was ready to trade my car in when I first went to Lapierre and now I have to say its running better than it ever did. Besides being a great diagnostician, Chris is an honest businessman who treats his customers well. I would not go anywhere else as I have found a gem in Lapierre auto repair. more

WOMEN, PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW! I am a 63 year old single woman and have been doing business with Lapierre's Auto for 10 plus years now. Prior to finding Chris I went through many auto repair shops looking for a honest repairman. My job has me on the road alot and I need my car in good running condition. A friend recomended Chris and although I live I in R.I., I decieded to try him. I was taken back by his honesty and concern to service my car and make sure I was safe on the road. At times if I have a concern about a noise he will check on it and many times it had been nothing serious and he never has tried to take advantage of me. I needed a car several years ago and I had him check out several I thought I would buy and he advised me not to buy them because they needed too much work for the money asked.I finally found a good car and he recommended I buy it. I have now had this car 4 yrs. and never had any problems with it. Chris is extremly honest and always has been fair.(not to mention he is very polite) I have recommended Chris to several of my women friend's and they have always been pleased with his work. Do your self a favor and give him a try. more

If you are a woman don't go to this place, they are going to rip you off!!! I went to this place and they were going to charge me 3 hrs of labor for something it only took 1 1/2 hour, thank God I went to a different mechanic, because I saved a lot !! My conclusion: They try to take advantage of women, they think you don't know anything about mechanic, so if you go there take your husband with you or a guy because if you go alone they will over charge you more

Great place to have your vehicle serviced, every time I needed work they did a great job, always done right the first timeand most times the same day. Chris runs a honest buiseness and is always concerned about his customers needs. I simply would not go any where else to have any of my vehicles serviced. Ok, I have finally found the place to take my car where I can feel confident and comfortable. I had the same problem with my car and went to three local repair shops, for a total of $670 and no one could fix my car! Lapierre's was able to diagnose the problem quickly, do the repairs for exactly what I was quoted, and I am now able to drive around without fear of breaking down. These guys are awesome! I just wish I had found them before I spent all that money at other, less competent shops. Pros: They know what they are doing! more

I'm a college kid and we all know that college kids just don't have a lot of cash. I started to do some work on my car by myself and that just "didn't work out". I took my car to Lapierre's and they were so great. Not only did they fix my car, but Chris and Dave took the time to explain to me what I did wrong. They didn't make me feel stupid and I was charged a very fair price. I really felt like they cared about how strapped I was and did what they could to help. I have been going to Lapierre's Auto since it opened, and I now have 5 cars serviced there. What I love most about Lapierre's is that I know I can trust them. They don't "sell" parts, in fact, with my older vehicle, there have been times when Chris has advised that I don't invest in certain repairs because it would not be in my best interest financially. I have always been kept informed during the course of repairs and have always been happy with their service. It's nice to know that there is a family-owned and operated business out there that provides honest service. His technicians are all highly qualified; they know what they are doing. I LOVE Lapierre's! I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of. Chris (the owner) is a great guy... and everything they do is fast and reliable. I never feel foolish when I call up and say I think my car is making a funny sound, because I know that when they take it in and check things out they let me know what it was, and then I don't hear the sound anymore. I moved out of Attleboro, and I still take my car to them... Pros: Very accomodating, friendly, reliable... I LOVE these guys! more
