I'm a regular customer at Lang Motors. Lang is a cool guy, and always does honest work. He even drove around with me in my car, to try to figure out the problem. I would agree prices are high, but this is Santa Barbara and costs to run any family business will not be cheap. He's very concerned about the well being of his customers and even called me apologizing thinking I was someone else, displeased with his work. You can trust him to take care of your car. Their price system is almost always a multiple of $600. Its either $600, or $1,200. No less- They charge outrageous rates for the smallest things. They charged me $60 just to take a quick peek at the car, and was hoping to get more than $1,000 for work I can do on my own. I used to be a frequent customer, but no longer. I'm done bleeding money out to them. Pros: Does decent work Cons: Grossly Over Charges more

Great guy, Great business 12/8/2009

Great family business. Wife was very nice in the office. Son spoke great English on the phone and even drove me to the bus stop when i dropped my car off. Lang is a very nice understanding guy. This is the first review I've ever done on this site; I'm only doing so because the experience was so pleasant and he deserves the business. Pros: Very fair prices, really nice guy Cons: A thick accent, kida hard to speak on the phone more
