After searching Angies List and interviewing at least four (4) other roofing companies, I selected Lang Home Exteriors. April/ 2014, Dan Artus from Lang came out, gave me estimate for the job and scheduled date of completion. Dan was very professional, courteous, and assured me that all items listed above, listed on contract, and items discussed during our conversation would be done to the highest satisfaction and would have a 5-year warranty. Forward ahead to september 5, 2014, I noticed a leak and water damage to plaster in ceiling of upstairs bedroom, The leak was coming from the same location of roof that Lang worked on and guaranteed that the job was done according to agreement and contract. I called Lang and spoke with Bill on 9/5/14, 9/6/14 and 9/7/14 to ask for repair/replace materials they guaranteed. Bill said that Dan or someone would come out to take a look. Dan came out to inspect and said that leak was not from area he worked on, but it was. I called Bill again to ask that Lang correct/repair/replace material workmanship they guaranteed. Bill asked me if I had some shingle (or) a shingle that he could tack on in one spot. I requested that he (Lang) should correct the job/ work his company guaranteed before more damage was done. He (Lang) did nothing to make their guarantee "whole" to date. I have called several times since 9/5/14 to no avail. Please know that I paid for a job per contract guarantee, and Lang Home Exteriors has failed me and left me with a roofing job not completed per their promise/guarantee, damage roof, damaged plaster, and money I paid them for a job they did not do. I am a senior and now I have to hire someone else to do a job that Lang guaranteed and warranted for five(5) years, and yet Lang will not uphold their 5-year warranty after 5 months of insufficient work.
