I recently shopped Lane Bryant at Rosedale Center. It was a very pleasurable experience as the store was tidy and the staff was friendly. The Rosedale Center has undergone many changes and has many new stores including Adrienne Vittadini, J. Jill and Coldwater Creek. I was impressed with the entire center. Lane Bryant consistantly carries most of the latest fashion trends in larger sizes than other stores. Beware of the high prices, shoddy construction and materials, and occasionally a fashion trend that doesn't translate well on a more substantial woman. Know the trends, what works on you, and have a good tailor -- and Lane is the best thing out there for ready-to-wear. Pros: thoughtful, trendy, good selection Cons: pricey, occasionally goofy more

Big and Beautiful 7/29/2002

For those of us who have a few to many extra pounds. Lane Bryant is a life saver. Their clothing is hip and up to date, you always feel in style, and you feel better about yourself becuae you look good! My only complaint is there jean shorts - they could be longer. Also they have fabulous promotions to save you money! more
