Our 02 chevy impala had a broken tie rod. We had our car towed to the shop, and they were extremely efficient with getting the car looked at to quote us the damages. In the process of estimating the damage, hub replacement, tie rod replacement, cv joint boot and regrease, rear brake pads, oil change, cabin filter was quoted to us at 575.00. Unfortunately, it took me a week to get that kind of money together.....even more unfortunate is the fact, when we went to pick the car up on my pay day.....the price was 1399.00. WOW!!!!! That was almost tripled!! Why, I wonder.....didn't anyone call me back to actually make sure that I wanted to spend that kind of money on this car???? Needless to say, I basically had to pay to getmy car back, but the communication SUCKED!!!! When they found out I was going to pay cash, they did come down a little more, but that was a real damper on my pocket book!! Hopefully, the job they did was a-one, and I wwon't have any problems from this point on....but you never can tell. Its hard to trust anyone in this line of work anymore! Never know what your going to get. I recommend them, if money is no object.
