Went for a drink, looking for a little entertainment. I must have picked the wrong night because the place didn't have music and it was dead...2-3 people at most. I ordered a drin...

I ordered a drink anyway, wish I hadn't. It became apparent why the place was dead, there was no air-conditioning. I left my drink and walked out. You can not conduct business in Texas without air-conditioning! Maybe it was just the night, I may give it another try come the cooler months. more

Here's a funny-ish story. We heard about this really cute place in Georgetown to have some drinks and sit outside on the balcony. So when we get there, there's a whole lot going on, and the balcony is full because some people are getting MARRIED!!! I thought that was really cute! There was a preacher out there and everything. That was a lot of fun, actually. So when people ask me if the Landmark was any good, I tell them, "it's good enough to get married in!" Pros: tasty tasty mexican martinis! Cons: need more lights outside, easy to miss more

    The Landmark Tavern is located on the 2nd floor of the Old Masonic Lodge Building, at the corner of Main and 7th streets, on the Square, downtown Georgetown.

    We are a casual and comfortable place to meet with friends and enjoy the beautiful Downtown Square. We offer a full-service bar and live, unplugged and sophisticated music on the weekend and during special events. Our outdoor balcony is quite simply the finest outdoor dining and lounging experience downtown. Not just a place to eat, the Landmark Tavern offers Georgetown's emerging entertainment scene with something new: something to do! Come meet with old friends or make new ones at the Landmark Tavern!
