THE LANDING STRIP RESTAURANT 10/16/2008

I have ate at The Landing Strip for years. The place has the best crab cakes around town,among a wide variety of homemade food items. All the items on the menu are reasonably priced and the happy hour can't be beat. The barmaids and waitresses are always personable,very friendly, outgoing and beautiful. I am not sure what all the stink is about. I have been there off & on for years. I can only really remember one meal to brag about. The food is just ok. The beer selection lacks imports. The bar & dining room are too close. The upstairs is not an option. ...and thank God they banned smoking because that place reaked of cigarettes. The interior could use some updating. It is very dark in there, which always rub me the wrong way in a restuarant environment. I would like to see them go alittle more trendy & allow upstairs access. HAS POTENTIAL.
