Stop buying puppy mills dogs!! I bought two dogs from you and they both have congenital diseases--well actually one died, and the other has lymphangiactashia and we have spen $8000. trying to keep her alive. Don't Buy anything from Land ogf Paws!!!!!!!\r more

I got the same lie in 1998 when I bought a standard poodle. They said my puppy came from a lady who only bred a couple of litters a year because she bred for healthy, beautiful dogs to further the breed, not for profit. Later I did some research & found out my dog had come from Dot's Little Doggies & she has hundreds of breeding dogs. It is indeed a puppy mill & I was lied to by Land of Paws. My beloved dog is now 12. He has a genetic skin condition called sebaceous adenitis that he has had for years. Good breeders don't breed dogs with this genetic defect. He was recently diagnosed with cancer also. We will be devastated when he goes and when it's time to get another pet we will definitely NOT be going to Land of Paws. more

I have to admit, I was skeptical about getting a dog from a puppy store, but we did our research and found only positive things about the breeder AND Land of Paw's. Do not confuse buying a puppy from a breeder isn't buying one from a puppy mill - sometime it is the same thing! Prior to buying our pooch at Land of Paws, we did buy directly from a breeder, but the dog was a mess - was not socialized, very difficult to train (i.e. puppy lessons) and was aggressive. Having smaller kids, we had to make the difficult choice of finding another home for our dog, which we thankfully did. We never thought we would get another dog, let alone from a store. Let me tell you - this is the BEST dog. He is amazing - well socialized, healthy, happy and part of our family. Not all breeders are the same - which is true for puppy stores. I absolutely do not support anyone who makes money off of puppy mills! However, don't be so quick to judge if you don't have all your facts! Land of Paws was honest with us up front about who owns them and where they get their dogs. Other stores are not so forthcoming, which makes me wonder what they are hiding. I have only positive things to say about this place. For anyone considering buying a dog - do the research before you commit to any store or breeder. :) more

They claim to buy their dogs from ""hobby breeders"" but their dogs come from places including Dot's Little Doggies which is a huge puppy mill that ships dogs all over the US. They have 600+ dogs at a time of various breeds in cages. The dogs will not be properly socialized and due to poor breeding will likely have many genetic diseases. It is also a very cruel practice. more

I bought my puppy at Land of Paws recently. The people there were very helpful, patiently letting me take out and play with many dogs, ask tons of questions and basically reassured me in every way. I feel like I bought my dog (and all the necessary products) from people I could trust and while I did think things were a bit on the pricey side, will go back there for grooming and incidental things in the future. We were in this store today and they were very friendly, having a great sale, had a huge selection of beds, toys, treats and much much more, we were very impressed and will definately be going back alot! more

This store has a lot of things for pets, but they are way overpriced. Also they are not friendly. I was in the store with my pet for 20 min and not once did someone offer to help. Staff would walk right past me, and I it wasnt buzy at all. Very poor customer service, and way overpriced. I got my AKC registered dog at less than half the price for some of thier dogs. I will go somewhere else where the prices are reasonable and the service is better. Pros: a LOT OF ITEMS Cons: OVERPRICED , NOT FRIENDLY more
