Welcome to the Lancaster Science Factory, a hands-on, interactive technology and science center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We invite you to come explore our exciting exhibits relating to the physical sciences, engineering, technology and mathematics! Science Factory exhibits are geared for ages 7-13 but is fun for the whole family. The main exhibit gallery, the Castagna Learning Center and all exhibits are wheelchair accessible. Members of other Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) museums are welcome to use their membership at the Science Factory if they meet the proper guidelines.<br />The average visit time to the Science Factory is about two hours. Check in at our front desk and then let the fun begin! Our open floor space allows you to move from exhibit-to-exhibit at your own pace - no map needed! Your admission is good until we close for business that day. You are welcome to take a break and come back later to play some more!.<br />The Factory's over 50 exhibits aren't just displays. They're interactive, meant for our guests to touch, try out, play with, and most importantly, experiment. Not only is each exhibit related to some scientific or mathematical concept, but the act of using them can be itself a creative, experimental endeavor.<br />Not only are our exhibits hands-on and fun, they are also designed to illuminate principles of science.
