Lancaster General Health Women & Babies Hospital

Overall, my experience at Women and Babies Hospital was good, but there were some things that I think they could improve upon. The entrance for patients is the same as the entrance for visitors. There was no privacy and as a patient I had to wait in line in the lobbly filled with people while I was in labor with water running down my legs. The nurses were great and the food was fantastic! LOL! Well maybe I can wait a little while but seriously my stay was just wonderful! The nurses are all so friendly and caring. They made me feel so comfortable when I was there to have my son. The nurses took really good care of both me and my baby. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a television, seating for guests and your own private bathroom with a shower. Each room also has a pull out bed for the husband or labor coach to sleep on if they wish to stay with you. They have excellent food too! With all the horror stories you hear about hospital food it was really surprising to actually enjoy it. My labor and birth expirience was absolutley perfect. When I was in pain or feeling nervous the staff took special care to make me feel good again. It's an awesome hospital. more
