VCRs are a dying invention 12/28/2005

With DVD being the hottest in video technology today, VCRs are slowly dying in popularity. I must be old-fashioned, because I still use my VCR and have lots of blank VHS tapes still around my house. When my VCR broke, I took it to Lam's to have it looked at. I got an estimate on how much it would cost to repair my VCR, but with VCRs being so cheap, I figured I would just buy a new one instead of having my old one fixed. more

Good people 9/7/2005

I actually used to go here when I lived in the next town over because it was a smaller, mom and pop type operation, and I knew I could get better prices than going to the Circuit City installation and repair center. Turns out I was right. The owner and chief repairman helped me out with a TV that wouldn’t turn on anymore. He told me that it would cost only $20. I never fixed it, but that’s a good price. more

Great Service 8/20/2005

Lam could fix almost very TV, either new or old. When a TV or VCR broke down, you don't have to buy a new one. Instead of paying couple of hundreds for a new TV, you can only pay $30 or little more to fix it. He goes to your house to fix them or you can deliver your TV or VCR or even DVD to his office. He will fix them for you. more
