Lamppost Pizza

Prior to turning 21 I ate on the Lamppost side exlcusively. My friend and I would sit on the benches, eat the delicious pizza (My second favorite in town. And that's a CLOSE second) and play the trivia game on the TVs. There's sports playing absolutely everywhere and the arcade always had newer games to play. Yes, kids ran around and it got loud and occasionaly it would take a while, but it's pizza. That should take 20 minutes MINIMUM if it's to be any good. \r Then I turned 21 and my world changed. The bar side became my new home. The outside patio, my new backyard. While this may make me sound like an alcoholic, I drank more Mountain Dew than beer here anyway. But that's not to say I haven't had my fair share of beer here. I'll admit their original brewer was by far my favorite, but the current one is doing a damn fine job of crafting both the original Lamppost flavors as well as his own creations.\r I can go in here on a Wednesday afternoon and be greated by both employees and guests alike and that's what keeps bringing me back. That Cheer's feeling of being somewhere everybody knows your name. On a busy movie-opening weekend it can be packed (adjacent to Vista's only metroplex), so don't go expecting things to be snappy. They have suggestions for quick dining on their menu so you don't miss your movie. They also have great specials and do really fun promotions during sports seasons. \r Last, but certainly not least. If I was a connoiser of anything, I would say it's the Buffalo Wing. Lamppost has hands down, the best wings I have ever had in my life. Try them. Love them. They'll love you in return. more

I visited this place after having seen my dentist in the same shopping center. I really enjoyed their specialty pizza and their chicken wings. Generous sized portions and great taste. more

I really do enjoy myself when I do go to this nice little brewery and pizza joint.\r \r Not only do they actually make delicious beers... I've tried both their lighter and darker selections and they are all delicious. Even if you're not a beer drinker, the beers are really good, trust me!\r \r The pizza here is so freaking good. I would come here every time I had a pizza craving, but Lampost can easily weigh heavy on my bejeweled wallet. However, when I do get to come here, I usually get their pizza that has chicken and artichokes and olives on it. I think it's called the California or something awesome like that... Either way, get it. Eat it all. Be Happy :)\r \r I usually get a pitcher of their hef, and a pizza ....buuuuuuut once in a while I get some onion rings to go with my beer. Um, when did onion rings become so irresistible.?? The batter is thick and the slices of onion are huge. Also highly recommended.\r \r Do yourself a favor, have a date night here. Or grab a group of your girls or guys and grab a seat by their bonfire. It's delicious! more

Best place every to chill and get a drink. The staff is awesome! It feels like a true family here. Overall Best Pizza ever!!! And if you get the hot wings. Ask them to be ""Double Baked."" mmmmm so good! more

Great place with a classic pizza place feel to it. Good selection of beers at good prices. Pizzas not cheap but well worth it. I am not a big salad eater but this place knows how to make a salad with all the goodies... Don't have to eat like a bird just cause you want some greens more

A wide variety of pizza, everyone I have had has been extremely good. My favorite is called ""The Whole Nine Yards"" with has 9 or 10 toppings, a delicious mixture of high quality meats and fresh veggies. My friends raaaave about the pesto. I usually ask for my pizza to be cooked a few extra minutes because I love that extra snap in the crust, but the dough has great flavour either way.\r \r They also have a great selection of local and craft beers. more

Monday nights are kicken here, first off mondays they have 2$ house beers that r amazing. My favorite is the riden dirty IPA, there is a great patio with a fire pit in the center of a circular bar that is surrounded by plenty of chairs. Then there is probabaly 10 other tables with chairs scattered through the patio that have heat lamps above them .They alow smoking on the patio and let me suggest its a great spot to smoke a stogie and drink a great brew for CHEAP. They have music on the paitio aswell but the music varies depending on who is working sometimes there r great tunes like jazz, funk, clasic rock and then there r times when top 40 is playing. The food is also very good too i give this place a 10 out of 10 !!!!! more

Went there last night with a few clothes friends, busy due to thurs night football, Sat outside, great atmosphere, cheesy bread became the main meal as it is that good! Salads are huge so watch out (Caesars ) wheat beer on draft delisioso! Would definitely recommend this place for solo or group hangout! more

they are AMAZING...but most of all, the freaking HUGE amazing WINGS! (practically the size of a drum stick) \r My husband and his friends love the beers and always try something new or get the sampler. more
