Great service from owner/owner's son 12/16/2008

my car stalled, luckily, across the street near the Tim Horton's. I walked over to Lamore's and they agreed to tow it back to the station, instead of me calling AAA - they would've gotten the call from AAA anyway. Owner/owner's son checked it out got it running, no labor charge. I then filled it up with gas, I was good to go. more

Never Again 2/12/2006

I took my 96 Jeep to Lamores twice. I drove in and told them my fan belt was loose. They asked if I could leave it. I did and didnt hear anything all day. When I went to pick it up that night they said they looked at it and the belt was fine. As soon as I started it the belt squeaked. The mechanic came out tightened the belt and charged me $30 for about 15 seconds of work. Then I was dumb enough to let them tow it there a second time. It took them three days to change a crank-shaft sensor. I called a half dozen times always being told it would be done that day. Then they changed the sensor without telling me and without an estimate. I also had a new deep scratch length of the Jeep. more
