Lambert's is one of those places that you "have" to go to when visiting this area of South Alabama. I've been in the peak season as well as the off season, and it is a lot nicer in the off season. Meaning, a lot less crowded and faster service. I've never waited longer than an hour for a table, and that doesn't seem like an unreasonable wait to me. (This was during peak tourist season, at dinner). They do actually "throw" the rolls, but they make it easy to catch them! The food is good Southern cooking, and they give you a ton of it. They don't accept credit cards, though, so make sure to bring cash or check with you.
