If you love the hood with a passion, this is the place for you! Dog feces and empty beer bottles adorn this lost and forgotten landscape with rundown pools and incoherent manageme...

OK if you don't mind compromising 7/28/2009

I lived here in 2007. The apartments were either being redone or had just been redone and the apartment i moved into had just been finished - - it had new cabinets, fresh carpet, and tile in the kitchen and bathroom. The apartment itself was a little small but I guess about average as apartments go. We had no real patio, because ours backed right up to the sidewalk, and the parking was pretty far from our door plus the parking lots had not been paved in a while....and the mailboxes were in a fairly inconvenient spot, all the way at the front of the complex, and not very close to the office parking...definitely get wet in the rain... the pool was nice, but the fitness center wasn't open when I was there. I never used the laundry facilities but was disappointed that w/d hookups were unavailable for 2 bedrooms. We did have a bit of an insect problem....but I think only because our apartment had just been redone and part of our building was still under construction. The office staff was very nice and helpful and has continued to be (I ended up moving out early and breaking my lease due to family illness, and they were very nice in assisting me and setting up a payment plan to pay for my early termination fees). It was much nicer than a lot of other complexes in St. Petersburg and Clearwater for the price range. As far as the other tenants, I only had complaints about the people above me who moved out before I did, but I was in a fairly private portion of the complex. Pros: affordable, nice apartments, great staff Cons: parking lots, ""landscaping"" more

If you love the hood with a passion, this is the place for you! Dog feces and empty beer bottles adorn this lost and forgotten landscape with rundown pools and incoherent management staff. If induced states of psychosis are your thing, Lakeside Village in St. Petersburg is the place to score! Perhaps uncontrolled substances and fecal matter don't do it for you. Find your faith in God when your neighbor decides to fire off his gun into the dirt as you walk around the corner! If you are looking for something a little more intimate, the Maintenance Manager comes from a family of street pharmacists, miscreants, and delinquents. He can come inside your house while you are away and terrorize your private life, if you're into that sort of thing. perhaps you need to do your laundry at 3:00AM like every other self-respecting drunk. Lakeside Village in St. Petersburg has a nice facility to accommodate inebriated tennants who are hell-bent on making as much noise as possible on a weekday night. If you are lonely, Lakeside Village in St. Petersburg, Florida offers complimentary rodent mammalia to greet you when you come home in the evenings. ""Honey, I'm home!""\r \r If you aren't a big fan of horror flicks and murder mysteries, look elsewhere. If these things tickle your fancy, Lakeside Village in St. Petersburg is the place for you! Pros: Low Cost Cons: Everything else under the sun! more
