Lakeside Apartments

I have lived in many different apartment complexes. This is the first one I have ever lived at that doesn't have a computer in the office. Apparently a few hundred dollars to improve efficiency isn't a good idea for the morons who run this business. When I showed up 3 years ago to get my rental contract I was baffeled when the manager painfully and slowly typed up my contract on a 1980's typewriter! It took close to half an hour.\r \r It is true the current manager mr. jervert probably spends more time policing and butting his nose into other peoples business than he does actually fixing things. If you ever need something fixed get it in writing. He isn't all there in the head and forgets just about everything you tell him. \r \r He is seldom in his office and wants you to drop your rent check under the door. This is terrible tenant service. Sometimes there are issues with the voicemail box (possible intentional) so you cannot leave messages. This may be due to the fact people complain a lot. \r \r All that being said the apartments are in a great location and have nice views of the lake. They need to have a ""secret tenant"" like they have ""secret shoppers"" in retail. This secret tenant could review mr. jevert and communicate his severe shortcomings to the owners. \r \r more

These are the worst apartments in Turlock.!!!Do not live here.The managment Is horrible at best.They are always holding my rent check for months at a time,they never ever fix anything that you tell them about..The onsite manager acts like he is a police detective always in your buissness for no reason. He had a problem with visitors coming over like he had the right to tell me when and who i could have over. He is by far the worst landlord i have ever came across very unprofessional always lying about stuff that would be better off just be truthfull about.So take my advice and stay as far away from these apartments as possible.. more
