These apartments are nice for lower income families. Things seemed to be o.k. when I moved in with my child. The office staff was very nice and helpful. Turned in all my paperwork, including my move in condition form. The manager told me that she would put it in my file. I asked for a copy of my move in condition form and was told that the copier was broken, but they would get me a copy the next day. Got busy getting settled in and totally forget to get my copy. Asked about the copy about two weeks later and they said they miss placed it, but when they find it. Didn't think anything of it. The time that I lived there, really didn't have any problems. Until I moved out. I have had nothing but problems with them since.\r
There were a few stains on the carpet before I moved in and that was listed on the move in condition form. When I moved out I was asked to pay $970.00 for carpet replacement. I was shocked!! When I asked to see the move in condition form it was completely blank.... I was so upset. I asked at that time for them to provide proof of when the carpet in the apartment was replaced prior to me moving in. It has been almost 2 years now and with a collection on my credit; I have yet to see the invoices for the carpet. I have been calling about every six months to try to resolve the issue and there has been no response. I just caution you if you move into these apartments, you may get stuck with and outrageous move out bill.
Pros: Nice schools for kids
Cons: They want you to pay for up keep they need to be paying for
