Lakeside Paradise 2/10/2004

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Lighthouse Lakeside. The location facing the marina was breathtaking. The food was incredible and the prices very reasonable. Just off the beaten path, the overall experience was well worth the drive. Pros: Great food, Great ambiance, Friendly staff more

Best spot on Lake Travis 2/1/2004

Just 30 minutes from my home in Westlake I found the gem of Lake Travis dining. I was instantly greated by a warm and receptive staff. The food was wonderful and reasonably priced. Then I sat with my wife and looked out over the beautiful view of the small marina cove. A great atmosphere for romance or family dining. I would recommend this spot as the best on Lake Travis. If you havent tried the Lighthouse Lakeside, you should. The experience is one of the most pleasurable and unique in Austin., more

I'll never go back! 12/29/2003

Our family and friends thought we would give it a try. Newver again. the staff was rude, and sarcastic when we pointed out that they billed us for one extra dinner. The food portions were very small and very tasteless. the food was certainty didin't match the description on the menu. Everyone at our tables were dissipointed. The guy that was running the register etc that night was rude and arrogant. That's the first thing they need to replace! Cons: tasteless food, staff needs training, overpriced more
