Lakefront Palm Garden

I had family visiting from out of town and thought that there was nothing better to show Milwaukee spirit than taking them to a fish fry at the Lakefront Brewery. Although there was a bit of a wait, it was well worth it. I could handle the people smoking outdoors because at least there was no smoking inside. The Polka music was festive and the fish fry was tender, hot and one of the best I have ever had. The service was great. I give the server credit having three tables yet being so attentive and friendly. I would definately go back to the fish fry at Lakefront Palm Garden. Those that do not enjoy it are just a bunch of boring, lame, like to stay-in-their-same-element kind of people. Pros: Food - Atmosphere - Beer - Music Cons: Lots of People more

My wife and I decided to try the fish fry here because we had heard good reveiws. We usually go out for fish about once every other month or so and the location varies from high end restaurants all the way down to this place. Once we made our way through the smokers standing outside by the front door we entered the zoo. We were brought to a table with six perfect strangers next to the stage. We couldn't even hear each other talk. The food was well below average. $10 got me two pieces of fried cod and a handful of soggy fries. Waitress never stopped back to fill the water craft probably because she wouldn't have heard us ask anyway. Loud, poor quality food, and lousy service! I can best describe this place as a high school cafeteria setting, so yell across the table to the perfect stranger, CAN YOU PASS THE KETCHUP PLEASE! We'll continue to fish around for others on Friday nights, no second chances here!
