This wildlife park is an excellent place for the whole family to enjoy whether young or old. They have a petting zoo and exhibits where you can see animals and they also have an open topped bus that you can take a tour of the park on where there are free roaming animals that can be up close to you. Everybody I have every went to the park with has enjoyed this reserve and nobody has ever complained about it. more

Best place to see animals 11/19/2005

We go to Lake Tobais every year with our kids. We all love to see the many different animals there in the casual atmosphere. The safari bus ride is the best, you get VERY up close and personal with the animals, make sure you have your camera! more

Just like a Farm 11/18/2005

Lake Tobias Wildlife Park is a nice place for the kids, but I grew up in farmland, so it's not that spectacular. The most awesome thing they have is the safari tour where you ride a bus to see the wildlife. The cost is pretty low. more

Safari in Central PA? 11/2/2005

Exotic animals are just the beginning. Lake Tobias is family fun at its finest. Upon arrival, you'll see more amazing and exotic animals you can shake a stick at (and I don't recommend you try), but it only gets better. Take a ride on their open air bus and get your chance to experience these creatures up close and personal. Feed them, pet them, or let them lick your face. Afterwards visit their petting zoo or reptile house. This is an amazing value and a treat for this area! more

Exotic Animals 11/2/2005

Lake Tobias offers a unique experience for the entire family. The safari cruiser allows you to travel over 150+ acrea of land and to see such animals as buffalo, ostriches etc up close and personal. You can purchase feed for the animals prior to going on the safari and the animals will literally come up to the crusier and eat out of your hand. My toddler, although a tad intimidated, had a great time feeding the animals. There is also a small zoo on site. Ticket prices are very reasonable and although the wildlife park is a little off the beaten path it's not too difficult to find and there are plenty of signs to direct you as well. Great family fun. more
