For a small town, Effingham has a large number of boaters that make use of Lake Sara, a few miles away. Many of those boats are purchased from from Lake Sara Marina, Inc. At a recent boat show that they put on, the assortment of boats was amazing. Everything from small fishing boats, to streamlined ski boats, and large cruisers in a variety of styles of colors are available here. An added plus, is that small town service, lacking in many larger cities.
